Re: Childhood toys
That might be an idea, we've basically taken over the Childhood Toys thread.

Re: Childhood toys
I think I've found that video using my severely overpowered intellectual abilities (and google search), so go nutsacks cambranana

Re: Childhood toys
Uuurrgh, the LEGO logo sound at the beginning creeps me the fuck out. Bleh bleh bleh. But thanks for finding that!

Re: Childhood toys
I used to think the opposite, but since the revelation of the Badcorner I have serious doubts about your non-nerdy credentials
Re: Childhood toys
I can understand your confusion, but that sort of thing could happen to anyone in such desolate isolation. I have my nerdy side, but it usually isn't anywhere near that aggressive

Re: Childhood toys
I am literally a hermit for most of the day and have been so for 4 years, yet I have no Candcorner to show for it. You, sir, have no excuse.
Face it, you're one of the dweebs now. I have been abandoned.
Re: Childhood toys
Well I must be a more social creature, as being forced into isolation has had more of a negative effect on me.

But Boustrophedon, nerdiness is not a negative effect

Now sense is beginning to prevail here!
Re: Childhood toys
My pursuit of nostalgia is a negative effect, it means I'm not happy and so I'm trying to recapture some of the joy from my youthier youth

Though if you did give in to the nerdiness you too could have the sex appeal and stunning job prospects of our resident mangosteen!

Pardon me?
Pardon me?
Re: Childhood toys
I never saw that promotional video before. Am I the only one that really likes the LEGO logo animation of that time?

I like the animation, but not the audio.

Re: Childhood toys
My dislike of the audio is more of an instinctive thing, design-wise it works fantastically with the visuals. It just puts my brain in panic mode. A bit like Deep Note.
Re: Childhood toys
Nah, I don't think I could get any nerdier than the occasional star wars, videogames and lego. Anything beyond that doesn't really interest meJewish Candy wrote:Though if you did give in to the nerdiness you too could have the sex appeal and stunning job prospects of our resident mangosteen!

Re: Childhood toys
In my case, that kind of synth-y music makes me feel quite good inside. Funny.
