Only to post another one after that? Not sure I follow the logic here.

How so? Also, it'd be great if you guys kept suggestions until after the game is finished: not only would it be a huge mess to change the rules during the game, it just derails the conversation.

Pineapple, you lynching seems quite suspicious when everyone else isn't.
Day 1 - Unvote - Lynch Pineapple.

I don't want anyone getting lynched if it isn't necessary, so my vote balances it so no one has the majority.

Why would you want to lynch that person? In how does he appear suspicious to you. Please explain.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 1

Post by Hunchman801 »

In spite of suspicious behaviour and a strong climate of fear, the members of Santa's community were wise enough not to recklessly lynch anyone today.

The dim sun now sets in the polar countries. Whose fate will be sealed tonight? You tell us.

Night 1 begins!

You may use any night actions, including the ones causing death. If you do not wish to use your night action, or even if you do not have one, it is required that you send me a PM entitled "Night 1 - Idling". Failure to do this may result in immediate elimination from the game.

The deadline is Monday 23rd, midnight (UTC).

Some players seemed to be unsure whether they were part of the mafia or not. Unless you have received a second PM explicitly telling you that you were part of it, you are a villager. If you did, the other recipients are the other mafia members. It might be wise to contact them.

From now on, turns will last 24 hours instead of 48. This might sometimes be extended if one or more players need more time for a good reason, so please let me know beforehand if that is the case. Otherwise, you may be eliminated.

Oh my... I have no idea what came over me there. However it seems like I appear to have risen suspicion amongst many of you and for that I apologise, however I do not blame you. I suppose I'll have to win you over again. How about this? If the inspector, or whichever role will be able to discover my own role, does not trust me, then I gladly invite you to find out, I don't expect you to reveal your findings to keep your own identity safe, but even if I don't know you've done it, it would be nice to know someone knows the truth and believes in it, helps me sleep at night.

However if the rest of you are unconvinced and vote to lynch me tomorrow then, as unwise as it is and as much as it worries me to do so, I will gladly reveal my role to save my posterior. Of course that is if I survive the night, The acolytes may use me as an example to strike fear into you...

Why aren't we hiring any security?
I mean, that would be much easier.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 2

It is with a bad feeling that Santa, his elves and their friends wake up this morning.

As they make their way to the toy factory, some reckon having heard a scream in the night.

Unfortunately, Santa proves them right. It is with great sadness that he announces that Sultan never came to work this morning, and that his lifeless body was found in his bed.

You are the Tweedledum Elf.

You don't have any particular skills and can only rely on your twin brother, the Tweedledee Elf.

The Tweedledee Elf is Sierra.
As they get back to work, the following is heard on the radio:
Rumours spread of the Whipping Father heralding in a new age among his acolytes. Dissent among the ranks! A few have been ... appropriately taken care of. The result: a power vaccuum. His most loyal acolytes stand a chance to get promoted. Who are most likely to? That information has been lost to the shadows. But the word is out - the acolytes are uneasy. Watch out! Murderers on edge are trigger-happy.
Angered at the loss of one or their fellow elves, the members of Santa's community are ready to handle the murderers themselves. Will someone get lynched today? You tell us.

Day 2 begins!

You may start voting for lynches now.

There is no deadline for the moment. Two players have been eliminated as they broke the rules by not sending me a night action, twice in a row. In order to avoid disruption in the game, their aliases have not been killed. Instead, the users have been deducted 500 Tings each, which will be handed out to anyone willing to take their place. I'll let you know about the deadline as soon as we have those two new players. Warnings have been sent as well: keep in mind that there may not be a second one.

I repeat, we have TWO FREE SPOTS now! Join the game, get 500 Tings. :hehe:

One of our fellow elves has been murdered. At least we know we can trust Sierra, which eliminates one player from the list of possible acoyltes. Hopefully today we can remove one acolyte permanently and get back at them!

How exactly is that? What did Sierra do that others didn't? Lynch no-one? No accusing here, just asking questions. I don't really get the Tweedle Dee part

Oh, and about security! I contacted some companies about that. Looks like none of them are established anywhere near the North Pole, sadly.
So I suggest we just up security on our own, since I don't think we have the money to fly them over here, provide food and clothing, and housing of course.

That was Sultan's roll. That means that Sierra's roll is the same, as it is likely they complement each other. I may be wrong, but it seems that means that Sierra is an elf. If I am wrong, I apologise, but that is how it appeared to me.

The vacancies have been filled, and the deadline will be Wednesday 25th, midnight (UTC), in order to allow the new players to catch up. Future turns will only last 24 hours unless requested otherwise (and for a good reason).

And yes, you can trust the role PMs I post when someone dies.

Let us not forget Sultan's last words (at least on here) :

Now i'm not sure what's up with Pineapple's game last time and he has yet to explain himself but alas, we have no other suspicious individual (the opposite rather, as we now have one we can definitely trust but potentially vulnerable judging by their counterparts role). I am not sure how the rest of you are feeling in regards to wanting to lynch someone but by the looks of it they are most certainly out to kill, even so I will wait until someone else throws in their two cents before I make up my mind.

First of all, I think we should wait for a statement from Pineapple. He might have had his reasons to try and lynch Humpty Dumpty, but if he doesn't...

What a horrible day it is today. My twin brother has been murdered! ! Pleasseee, we must revenge my brothers death!!!
It's also weird enough, that the first person who wanted to lynch one yesterday has been murdered. Isn't that an indicator in any way?!

You do have my condolences, and I do understand the death of your brother might make me look suspicious. But it would have been extremely dumb of us, if I were actually part of the acolytes that is, which I'm not, to kill him, as it would have led everyone directly to me.
Having said that, I'm not a part of the acolytes, and personally I think they're playing a smart game by trying to set me up.
