Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 2
Well I hate to tassle with your tangerines, but my vote stands.
Day 2 - lynch Ping Pong
Like I said, I do feel the need to act and waiting another day won't help us Elves find the acolytes.
Even if he turns out to be an Elf after all, that's so, but I won't wait her, doing nothing, while the acolytes are trying to kill us off one by one

Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 2
Despite their friend's death, the elves, still unsure about who is responsible for it, go back home as the sun sets, with the fear that things will only get worse tonight.
Who will be lucky enough to wake up tomorrow morning? You tell us.
Night 2 begins!
You may use your night actions. If you do not wish to use your night action, or even if you do not have one, it is required that you send me a PM entitled "Night 2 - Idling". Failure to do this may result in immediate elimination from the game.
The deadline is Thursday 26th, midnight (UTC).

Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 2
I find it strange no one has posted today? Do we not care about the poor elves who are being murdered one by one as we speak?
Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 2
I believe it to be the contrary; it is not that we do not feel sympathy for those who have past us but rather we fear for what will happen this night, especially to whom. We should not be lingering on the past while we are at risk of losing many more. Only when the acolytes are no more can we find peace to remember our lost ones.
Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 2
My weary brothers, before you lay your head on your pillow this night, consider this: though Sierra's twin was brutally murdered, rest his soul, how does that absolve Sierra himself from being an acolyte? I do not incriminate who I hope to be a fellow elf, but do not be unsuspicious of him either, only because of family ties.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Most of Santa's folk could hardly sleep last night, wondering who would be the acolytes' next target.
However, all they could hear was total silence. As they headed to the factory the next morning, the realized that the night had not only seemed quiet, it had been quiet.
No one was missing or hurt. Was it a truce? Or a trick?
Will the villagers use the extra time to get rid of an acolyte today? You tell us.
Day 3 begins!
You may start voting for lynches now.
There is no deadline for the moment. A player (Ping Pong) has forfeited and I'm trying to find someone to replace him.
Anyone interested? There's a 500 Ting bounty.

sorry that i wasn't here yesterday. I had a busy day.
Day 3 - No lynch
Day 3 - No lynch
Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
We need to start taking action at some point. If we keep voting No Lynch then it is impossible for us to win. I'm going to look though the posts of the other elves to see if I can find anything suspicious.
Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Agreed. We would probably be best to lynch today, but it can't be entirely baseless, randomly lynching will only land us in deeper water.
There have been quite a few users who have been inactive, however, that doesn't necessarily mean they're Acolyte, just inactive. So voting based on that would likely be a bad idea.
To be completely honest, right now I don't have a clue what to think, we don't have any leads as far as I'm aware.
However I do find it odd there was no killing last night. Perhaps someone managed to successfully role block the killer the Acolyte's sent out? or they were just obvious and attacked Sierra but a doctor managed to heal him? or maybe it is just a trick to try and get our hopes up, as I said I don't know what to think.
If you are the Role blocker, and you successfully role blocked someone last night (if there's actually any way for you to know) then pm someone you trust to tell them who you role blocked in case your attacked tonight, therefore, even if it was just the acolytes trying to trick you, its still a lead and we desperately need one.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Yes, I was skeptical about not lynching last time but alas there was no suspicious elves as Pineapple cleared their name up. Even so I await Hamlet's analysis to see what they have to say, as I have no idea who could be an acoloyte this round either. For now though, I cast the vote for no lynch and if there is any talk of someone suspicious I will turn my vote around.
Day 3 - No Lynch.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
I still need an additional player but we need to move on so the deadline for Day 3 is set to Saturday 28th, midnight (UTC). Be sure to cast your votes before that if you want to be heard!
I repeat, there's a free spot, please contact me if you want to play.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Unfortunately there hasn't been enough posts to make a good judgement on who is trustworthy.
Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
We really need some leads soon. I would suggest everyone try to talk more, join the discussion if you've barely said anything, give your views and opinions on what's going on, and if you want to, maybe even speculate who you think is working for the whipping father, we may be able to get them nervous and start singling them out!

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
I think discussing things would help, but form my point of view, there are no leads to work on.
If anyone does see anything suspicious then that'd be great, report it straight away.
We can either just wait and hope something revealing appears in the near future, but for now I think communicating through PMs might be a good idea, as you can hide any plans from the Mafia and, using any powers anyone has, we might actually be able to get somewhere.
It might be risky just revealing anything to anyone you think you can trust so be careful, but I don't think we'll get anywhere otherwise.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
If anything you could argue that Hallelujah is trying to trip people up into revealing what their roles are..
Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Day 3 - No Lynch
Now just repeat this message 2000 times more and then hope we will get somewhere while players are dropping out and coming in -_- ,but well as long as the role blocker keeps blocking everything we'll stay fine.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Aren't we better off at least trying to lynch somebody, because as time moves on the odds only get worse for us. I think we should confront people about potentially suspicious behavior, and see how they defend themselves. That could give us a bigger insight, and lead to more answers.

Re: Christmas Mafia - Day 3
Yes, but I could also be trying to get something going instead of following your advice which seems to be just choosing someone random to lynch, based on incredibly minimal evidence.Gregorio wrote:If anything you could argue that Hallelujah is trying to trip people up into revealing what their roles are..
Following my advice would at least yield some sort of results, albeit with risk. Choosing to lynch at random poses greater risk as we could easily accidentally lynch an Elf, possibly with powers that would greatly help. Those powers won't be any good if there's no communication, hence why I'm trying to advise using PMs: Communicating and sharing info without letting the Mafia know. If it means revealing roles then that might be a risk we have to take, otherwise no progress will be made.
I didn't say to give any information to me, just whoever you think you can trust, and I also said to be cautious with even that.
