@ Candish: It's a matter of time for me, it feels like a waste if we're not chatting, I'd rather go to a movie or whatever with an established friend, before that I'm more interested in getting to know someone first

This ain't a first date, it's a friendly chillsesh that could pertain to a multitude of interests. Observing a piece of entertainment offers people a different kind of bonding than only talking face-to-face does, it's a more silent kind that unifies our interests. That being said, I think both are essential.
