I've unlisted most of my stuff, didn't get rid of my videos discussing things, even though they're old and as tatty as anything else there. I just upload things that happen to me during games at this point, like that weird glitch where my follower wouldn't stand still in Skyrim.

It's a big bad economy mind you, you're gonna have to be resilient and smart if you're going to make a name for yourself.

Ah, I've unlisted few of my things that I thought might be funny to one day go back and just cringe, haha.

But yeah, I just stick to gameplay stuff, videogame discussion, stuff I just love talking about. I don't want my channel to soley be about Rayman because I fear it'd be repetitive to viewers. I still love the series (I mean I'm still here), still consider myself a huge fan, and don't even mind doing a few Rayman collection videos maybe? Something big on my priorities right now is a video of my HUGE snes collection to share with people. I really just love discussing videogames with others. ^^

Well I like to think I'm resilient, but the proof is in the pudding as they say. Well I'm gonna try my best and not give up! Hopefully I'll be able to quote my above post some-day and be like HEY LOOK YOU GUYZ, I DID IT!

Meh, seeing as I've got less than 100 subs, with a vast number of them having moved on, or just disappeared entirely, I don't feel obliged to anyone. I just upload what I feel like uploading at this stage.

I still don't have a true purpose for my YouTube. I upload myself playing the piano, finding glitches or playing some games now and then.

I see what you mean Master. I really do want my channel to evolve, not for the sake of what others want, but for something that I can appreciate myself.

I have no idea how... but I have over 450 subs... I'm going to keep working towards higher. Members like OCG have 5000 subscribers which is extremely impressive to me.

Like I said I just stick to really videogame discussion/lets plays. It's fun to hear what others in the comments have to say.

Seems like we're on similar boats then.

I think it's all down to what you provide and what people want. Therein lies the issue, there's a balance between being true to oneself and just selling oneself off, so to speak. Either ways, YouTubing is more a hobby to me than a career, I'd be glad to make the odd buck from it on the side, but I'm more concerned with getting my Uni sorted and getting into something I enjoy and can be successful with.

You've certainly got the tenacity, methinks. You don't know if you've not tried, after all.

I hear you, I'm going through Community College myself. I always put education in front of me, but I don't mind youtube as a side hobby.

I don't think anyone should be viewing youtube as a "Business" it seems rather arrogant and we're just reaching Game Grumps territory there. For the people who do live off youtube, some of them seem incredibly ungrateful for it. I could never live off youtube but I don't mind it being a little side thing, truth is few of my videos are monetized so yeah.

Ugh.. I didn't want to bring her up again, but it really is sickening, we don't know fully who to blame for this but I can easily guess it's one of her white knights or one the extremists of the sort...

Hmm, while RPC isn't optimised for mobile, I find I can use the desktop version just fine in browser.

We're like a big family, that's probably why we have such loyal members. :D

I have wondered what exactly it is about this place that makes it, as Humch describes, like a big family.
