I asked if he did not mind to scan the pages for us Rayman fans to read better but he told he hadn't a scanner. However, he did tell he would record a video focused on the Rayman articles and that's what he did.

Interesting how they referred to the valley by name again here. They also referred to the ink as tar and the erasers as 'erasures'. Make of that what you will.

"Rayman Advance" and "Breathtaking" don't go well together. Put any other version there and yeah, it works.

(Also what's with the picture of R2 Rayman doing the helicopter in the second image? I don't get why they do that, just stick to using R1 images for R1)

Didn't the RA boxart have the R2 Rayman model holding antitoons? Weird combo. That R2 model is ugly, anyway. Also, why do the electoons have blue hair in that artwork? They also have purple shoes like the Magician's, but blue hair? Huh?

Ahhh, good ol' Rayman Advance. Breathtaking indeed. Breathtakingly inconsistent sprite quality/resolution.
(I still like that game though...)

Ubi really likes to reuse that R2 model a lot, even on the Rayman 3 HD remaster, Rayman 2 model was used.

I don't know why they used it so much, I think it's ugly. But at least it's not doing that teen-angsty frowning-all-the-time thing the R3 model was always doing.

I never liked the R3 look but yes, it was at least a nice-looking model. Even the in-game R2 model had a nicer face than the promotional art R2 one.

Those are just mistakes. It also calls the crickets "aliens", calls Skops "Mr Skop", and says that Dark Rayman is Mr Dark in disguise.

Also, I love how even in the tiny low-quality view of the final boss screenshot I can see how horribly pixelated the Mr Dark sprite is.

Also, remember a while back when I asked for the scrapped R1 portal sprite and no-one had it? I ended up finding it in a french topic about Rayman Designer, in a post by PluMGMK.

If I ever want to use the sprite for something I need only to scale it down 50% without interpolation and edit it out. Nice!

It's got such a cool design to it, too. I wonder what it could've been used as. Enemy spawner? Metro-teleportermajigger entrance thing? Was it a rock enemy that's trying to eat Rayman by scooping down low and opening its mouth?
