Meh, while their dubs aren't always the best, they did have some pretty good VAs, such as Dan Green and Mike Pollock. They also did a very good job with shows that were local, such as the 2003 TMNT cartoon.

So overall I'm ambivalent, they had some crummy 'uns, and some good 'uns. They're not a thing anymore from what I've heard though.

Besides 2003 TMNT cartoon which was original production in US and not Anime localization, I think 4kids is freaking horrible. I am sorry but good voice actors can't save those pathetic localizations when everything else was butchered like music, dialogue and animation itself.

And the localization was simply to make the shows look local and have it connect more with the American audiences who may find all the Japanese stuff, that doesn't even play a big role in the shows anyway and you can totally do without, WEIRD!!

When will you fuckers get it through your dam heads? 4Kids was just following FCC guidelines! Where do you go back to just assuming they were doing this for the hell of it again? The 4Kids shows are still good thank you. They only had their downfall with ONE PIECE and even that dub was somewhat decent and can be tolerable. Everything else while edited, was much better and still enjoyable and nothing you can't handle freak. They were only following the FCC rules o Fox, the WB, and CW on what hey can display on their Saturday morning line-ups and these are kids ages 7-11 they were aiming to you know, If they were aiming to teens and airing the shows somewhere then they would have loosened up a bit on the shows, but they weren't. The dubs still hold great voice acting, music, and theme songs, and still display interesting storylines older people can enjoy so get that through your brain with some needles! 4Kids meant no harm like I said and you haters don't even understand what they had to do or understand the goodness still brought into the shows at all. FIX YOURSELF HOE! I ought to cut your arms off and slap your head with it ten times over until you wake up and realize this. If you can't handle the edits then leave the dubs for people like me who can actually appreciate them and understand them! It is not the end of the world and you still have your precious Japanese original shows to watch if you want all the blood and stuff! 4Kids worked with these teen-like shows because they were being shown to kids in Japan and they felt kids in the United States should appeal to them too just in a more appropriate way and these shows were POPULAR! The actual kiddie ones were nothing they would want to work with that would give them no reputation! The fact that you haters can't seem to see any of this and sink it into your heads show just how pitiful you are. This is why I bash people. You just don't get it so back the fuck off and allow me to continue handling these crusty foe funguses in the way they deserve and change your tune or else you'll be next to push around like a wheelchair and watch crash and burn in traffic!
