+ Installed Windows 10, which is way better than 8/8.1.

- The reason why I installed it was because GTA V kept crashing on startup on Windows 7, and there seemed to be nothing I could do about it.

+ GTA V works on this fresh Windows install, and god, it's everything I'd hoped it would be. Getting a constant 70 FPS on max, not only does the superior performance reveal so many immersive and realistic physics/animation nuances you'd miss in the last-gen versions, the graphics, light design and modelling are so much better to the point where it makes the last-gen versioms feel, well, truly last-gen and dull in comparison. It's really like a living, breathing California now. I spent about an hour just walking across the city last night. I could feel the comforting heat of the Californian wind against my sandal-wearing feet, like I was really there (knowimg that feeling certainly helps, having been there many times when I was younger).

In the words of that Wizard kid, "Califoooorrrriiiiinyyyyyyya"; I wanna go there again.

I'm not ready to make the jump into Windows 10 yet, but yeah, that's some dedication, glad you're enjoying it. I've been watching a lot of random youtubers play it and I am dying to play it quite honestly, not only am I curious how it runs but I'm also curious to fuck around with it's physics. I just don't know if I'm willing to pay full price, I understand content wise the game is just so worth it's price, but I don't feel the pricing is right after taking two whole years. Though I'm sure PC makes it feel like a completely different experience. I feel sorry for those recording on streams who got there keys stolen... lol. Anyways...

(-) I don't know if it's the game itself or if I'm just not in a great mood lately but it's really boring me. I don't feel the right to judge it right now since I'm just in kind of a "meh-ish" mood with videogames right now for some odd reason. It doesn't help that I'm still waiting for my GPU, my patience is growing thin.

- I feel like I almost consistently leave social situations feeling unsatisfied with myself. Whether it's because I said too much with too little of a response or I emphatically said something I don't actually stand behind, I end up feeling like the already extreme rarity of actually being social at all never puts me in the mood I'd hope for it to. I don't think it's anything anxious, just a lack of skill and a severe lack of people to talk. I hate talking to people who almost show off their prejudicial superiority complex when you're just trying to have some casual talk.

+ I've put together a night time playlist and have been spending the past couple nights just kinda kicking back and having fun with the music. I'm gonna regret fucking my sleep tomorrow, but it's my favourite part of the day tbh. Just a moment where I can let anything slide away for a while.

+ A donut place opened in the area, I can grab myself some iced tea and a sandwich from a decent walking distance now.

I can relate to that, Keane. I sometimes find myself saying things I don't actually mean and later think to myself "Now why was it that I agreed to that even though I firmly believe the opposite?"
Maybe that's just trying to be 'socially pleasing', if you will, but I get that it can bug you. For me, it depends a lot on the person I talk to whether or not I can be completely open and normal or not.

+ Just received the keys to my new room! Met a few neighbours in my dorm and I think I've already made a few new friends.
