Making other people happy is one of my favourite occupations :) <3
It's actually quite hilarious that it took me so long to find out about this, I must have overlooked this information when we talked about R3HD once

Though, in the long run, it may be worthwhile if it gets you close to the shoe quickly, as that nets more points to compensate, not to mention the combo you'll hopefully get into by boosting to get there while combo mode is active.
I personally avoid boosting with the shoe since not doing so allows you to collect even more points but then you need to be lucky enough to hit it a lot of times followed inside the combo.

Can you (or anyone) list a few of those particular "Xbox" differences? I noticed that the GC version has a cool raindrop effect on the camera if Rayman is walking through areas where it's raining. Also, the exclusive minigames and naturally the mini elevator thing's floor has different instructions in The Fairy Council, where André gets punched. What differences does the Xbox version have?

Xbox moves the Enterprise easter egg into somewhere more obvious to see. It also increased the texture quality, and removed the Bégoniax music. The PC version also removes the Glidewalk and the standard method of doing IPG in ToTL.

Xbox has the highest jump height but the slowest movement speed. Both of these are almost not noticeable for casual players but there are several jumps that work on Xbox but not on other platforms (the jump height order is Xbox > GC > PS2 > PC). Not a big deal though.

Moved from #146 to #134 and I also noticed something while looking through the unlocked minigames.
In the Arcade section I saw that there are TWO locked minigames under the last two unlocked minigames which are Commando and Wheelis. I'm fairly positive that one of them is 2D Nightmare, but what is the other one? Until now I thought that there are "only" 3 exclusive minigames: Mad Trax, Wheelis and 2D Nightmare, but Mad Trax and Wheelis are already unlocked while there are still two "Not available" places left and Murphy no longer counts the remaining points necessary to unlock the next thing, so I assume that unlocking them is related to the GBA.

2D Nightmare isn't really available, you have to put an action replay code to unlock it.
RayWiki wrote: In the GameCube version of Rayman 3, 2D Madness is unlocked simply by connecting a Game Boy Advance to the console. In the other console and PC versions of Rayman 3, it is unlocked by earning a certain number of points in-game. 2D Nightmare can reportedly be unlocked by connecting a 100%-complete GameCube version of Rayman 3 to a 100%-complete Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3, but this method has not worked when attempted. Efforts to contact Ubisoft regarding 2D Nightmare were made, but produced no constructive responses.

While the official method remains unknown, the minigame can still be accessed through the use of the following Action Replay codes:

NTSC:

0A42F5C8 00000040
005D884F 0000000A
0A42F5C8 00000020
005D884F 0000000B

PAL:

0A42EAE8 00000040
025D7D6E 0000000A
0A42EAE8 00000020
025D7D6E 0000000B

After entering the code, select a minigame (preferably Racquet Jump), and press L for 2D Nightmare, or R for 2D Madness.

Which doesn't get us any closer to the nature of those two "Not Available"s being under Commando and Wheelis. In fact, now we're even further from the answer. xD

Holy cow! Even after all these years I still haven't discovered all of the secret rooms. After watching some gameplay footage about their locations I gained knowledge of 3 or 4 secrets that I've never came across when I played. :D

I might update my score another time during this day. xD

My scores are neither cheated nor IPG enhanced. And I'm a man of my word. I stated that I will reveal my scores when I pass 900k points. I'll certainly stand by that.

Like many players in here, I have other duties that keep me from playing regularly, but I do play when I have some free time. On top of that I keep you posted on my progress. I think everyone knows I'm playing HH at the moment, that I'm in part 1 and that I'm following the points strategy laid out on page 285 and beyond. I hope HH and one other level will push me over the limit.

I'm a bit disappointed you and Cut resort to insinuations about cheating and whatnot. I don't know if it's lack of imagination on your part, that a high score can only be achieved through cheating, or just malice. Anyway I'm more interested in hearing about if you have made any progress in the game. Are you playing R3 at the moment?

I went 9 places higher, so I'm at the 125th place atm, also I got a grinning Murphy at The Longest Shortcut for the first time in my life. xD
The only world I left for replaying is the final one and I'll try to unlock the "Xowar secret" as well. It's another one of those secrets that I haven't experienced with my own eyes...yet. :D
I'll probably give it a try sometime during the upcoming weekends, as I don't have time to play stuff during the weekdays.

Well, best of luck to ya!

I'm hoping to give scoring a try again, but I need a proper controller to do it on, I can't play R3 optimally on a keyboard.

I used to do the same with various Sonic games, especially '06, Unleashed and Heroes. xD

I might reach #100 if I'm persistent enough, but I must do it until June 12th, because JP4 and it's game counterpart(s?) will launch then, so I won't play on my GC for some time. :D

Not trying to be rude, but you can easily check it out yourself instead of waiting for an answer.

As of my earlier question regarding the Arcade section's two "Not available"s under Wheelis and Commando. Does anyone know what they are? Harpic said that 2D Nightmare shouldn't be there, so it's not one of them I guess, but if so, what two other minigames are there exactly?
