When it comes to font colour it should be a colour that's already part of your sig so it blends in well, but not a prominent colour so that it can stand out against the sig.

In <'s sig for instance it borrows the yellow from Mr Jade's long ass gloves so that it matches with the character but is a colour that can stand out from the prominently green/blue/black background

For yours < would recommend using the goldish brown colour that's used for that fine beard

Meh, < thinks the green is good as it adds variation, but it's not too bright to completely overtake the image. If it was just the same colour, < thinks it would look less interesting.
