Are you able to sleep with a light on at all, Melon? I don't know if that would be light enough to help if you needed to adjust back to sleeping during the night.

I don't know why it's gotten worse, but I do know how it started. I am very scientific, and love having knowledge. Back when I was going to commit suicide, I was able to stop myself by thinking about what happens, scientifically, in death. I'm afraid of losing all knowledge and senses in death.

Computer screens etc. produce 'blue' light, which acts to keep the brain awake. If you do want to try sleeping at night again, you could perhaps find a light source that doesn't produce that kind of light. I think an ordinary lamp would do the trick?

That's the annoying thing, since it's your days off, you'd want to make the most of it. But at the same time, you're exhausted from the week itself, so you want to sleep off those early starts and nights spent up having to work.

Give Flux a try, it replaces the blue light with a warmer orange. As the site suggests, you can have it slowly reduce the blue light during the day, but personally I've grown so accustomed to it that I have it on 24/7 and don't even notice it anymore.

Sucks to hear man! Did you see it coming, or was it just a total surprise? My parents just got divorced as well, and my Mum's moving out next week, so yeah, I feel you. And it absolutely sucks.

I kind of saw it coming but didn't expect it so soon, my mom wants to move out with me and my brother in about a month. It sucks mainly because I have been living in this house since I was 3, now I'm 18 so it's a bit hard.
