Giving this a bump for the new album. It's kinda difficult to get an idea of what turns this album is gonna take, seeing how Dead Inside/Psycho is starting the album off. Or well, intro tracks can either set the tone for the album or fail to foreshadow any shifts in sound further into the album, and I think this might be the latter actually. I know they've talked about more rock oriented sound, but I'm still pretty convinced we'll get something comparable to Resistance/Supremacy/Survival at some point.
In any case, I can at least gather that the two singles are gonna flow into each other pretty well, and also feel much more like they're part of the same thing. That's really what I'm hoping they get right, because The 2nd Law and its awkward progression and jumping from one thing to another never really grew on me as much as I hoped.

Re: Muse Topic
Sounds REALLY fucking great so far, probably gonna be in my top 3 Muse albums. Dead Inside is fucking brilliant and perfect, and Psycho is fun as fuck and one of the best songs I know. Reapers is mindblowingly great, The Globalist is sounding cool so far, and Defector reminds me of Escape, which is fucking beautiful. And The Handler is going to be fucking amazing as Showbiz's sibling.
