Mobile Phone Recommendations Thread
Couldn't find any similar thread using the search feature of this forum, so I decided to create a new topic.
For almost 5 years my whole family has been an apple trailer, using nothing but iPhone products. Now after the iPhone 5 incident, We decided to leave the iPhone brand and look out for Android products, but there is such a bright variety that I just loose the overview. So I am asking you guys! What phone do you recommand me?
I want something very powerful, with long lasting battery, with good camera and which will last at least 2 years. What's the best mobile phone on the market on your opinion?

Re: Mobile Phone Recommandations Thread
Well after some heavy research I decided to get the LG G3. It has a great resolution, 3g ram, 16-32 gb hard drive and a quad hd scre3n and camera. Ive got this phone for 2 weeks now and its absolutely amazing in my opinion

Hmm, I've never been one for the fanciful flagships, as long as it does the job, I'm happy. Though I'm pretty interested in seeing how Project Ara will turn out. For now, the Moto G is doing a pretty good job for being a brilliant phone for lower budgets.

I don't know where I'd be without my Moto G tbh, while it's not 100% flawless, it's been worth every penny for the time I've had it so far.Master wrote:Hmm, I've never been one for the fanciful flagships, as long as it does the job, I'm happy. Not recommended: Samsung Galaxy Aces. BF had two of them and they had been nothing but sluggish pieces of trash that memory bloat like crazy.

I thought they had a spat and parted ways?
Re: Mobile Phone Recommendations Thread
I'm on a cheapo £7.50 a month contract with Moto and Tesco. I do not care about phones or connection speeds and would recommend this budget deal to anyone with a similar disinterest.

I'm still on a payg nokia brick. I'm hoping to downgrade to an even brickier nokia with snake 2 on it, but 'tis a fruitless hope. Xen's my kinda bro.

That's us, and look what we get for this shameless brick-loving. Sink the ships, bouncing ball and a game that sort of resembles pacman.
(Sadly, my phone isn't actually a brick anymore, but I'm still a brick man in an Apple world)

I have a BlackBerry Torch 9810. Best phone I've ever had. Awesome design, sleack interface, it had everything... Until the company crashed to the ground and now almost all the services are gone forever. It's a damn shame.

Re: Mobile Phone Recommendations Thread
I got my Galaxy S5 on a plan for $50. I once dropped it while I had the back off into a sink full of water (don't ask) and the battery popped out, also into the sink, allowing its components to be nicely exposed. It acted funky for a bit, but after a week of it slowly drying on the inside, it was good as new (with the back on, the phone is waterproof up to ten metres of submersion). Also, the OLED screen is stunning.
I used to play Snake 2 on one of those all the time. ;DJewish Candy wrote:I'm still on a payg nokia brick. I'm hoping to downgrade to an even brickier nokia with snake 2 on it, but 'tis a fruitless hope. Xen's my kinda bro.
