Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yeah, TF2 is great. It's been helping me get my fix for Splatoon.

Played Lethal League earlier, it's incredibly fun but the netplay's not the best and there aren't that many people on

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've never played Lethal League but I've listened to some of that OST and GOD damn, really fucking catchy. I should get it.
Hm... TF2. Yeah I hop on a random server every now and then when I'm legitimately bored. Unfortunately the game is a little stale with each update for me. The hats and overpowered weapons add nothing for me. Still a fun shooter overall, I'm happy to see there's still a large community for it, but my main Valve fix is Left 4 Dead 2.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I never play TF2 unless a friend is, otherwise there's no point for me. If I'm playing with friends it's incredibly fun, otherwise it's pretty dull.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Pretty much this. I tend to get bored or frustrated if I play it alone. Playing with friends opens up so many more options too, especially if one of you goes medic.Ambidextroid wrote:I never play TF2 unless a friend is, otherwise there's no point for me. Re: What games are you currently playing?
I have fun without friends, because I don't have any that plays the same time I do. But yeah, I really love TF2.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
So I've had Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) 4 in my backlog for sometime and haven't quite started it yet, but think of getting back into the series before 5 comes out in the summer.
Anyone here looking to get into a realistic simulation of Tokyo Japan, you can't get much more real than Yakuza. It's essentially open world like GTA, only it's also a beat em up with some RPG elements. The series is INSANELY underrated here in the West and Europe, anyone looking to get their realistic Japanese fix, please play some of the games, they're really excellent and you can still buy the 3rd one on PS3 cheap.
I've always had a weird fascination with Japanese culture, and Yakuza has a lot of those elements that had actually taught me quite a lot of things about their culture, it's legitimately the only game from Japan that isn't in some form of outlandish or cartoony.

Made a second save file on Rayman Origins 3D.

Downloading The Witcher 3... 28 hours left.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Wanted to play Yakuza 1 on PS2 I received today but ran into big problem. Game's save file has protection which makes it unable to be written on any memory card that is not official Sony licenced and it cannot be copied either. Considering I have unofficial 128MB card, this is a huge problem because I cannot save game at all. All it happens is failed attempt to make save file and in system browser when I went to see if it saved something, all I see is corrupted data on memory card. This is the first game from my collection ever to be protected like this. I guess I will have to order official 8MB card just for Yakuza 1 (and possibly Yakuza 2 since I heared it has same issue and I will receive that game later). I am afraid to search locally for PS2 memory card since I find many bootleg ones so I am not sure if I would end up buying original one if I bought locally. Gonna have to order from my trusty Japanese seller hit-japan on eBay.

Ps2 memory cards aren't expensive so you'll be fine. Congrats on getting Yakuza! Fucking amazing franchise.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Really need to play both that and Ico. How I've never played it yet is beyond me. It's undoubtedly a work of art, I need to get it as soon as I can (though Yakuza 2 is higher on my Ps2 priorities)

Re: What games are you currently playing?
The only detraction from the experience is that, being the PS2 version, it can get very low fps at certain scenes, but it's completely forgivable because of the game itself, it really is art. Very fun art.

>That face when me and OCG are legitimately the only ones here excited for Yakuza 5.

@Ambidextroid
I take it this problem was fixed in the PS3 version? I'll end up getting both either way.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Well the PS2 version gets very low fps at times and there are a lot of glitches, but I'm pretty sure the PS3 version fixes most of the issues. < would have definitely got the PS3 version but < doesn't have one. If only it was released on other consolesRayfist wrote:I take it this problem was fixed in the PS3 version? I'll end up getting both either way.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I beat today Tearaway on Vita. It was very fun game but it felt empty at times. I wish it had more action in it.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I bought a good laptop last year...but it's not able to run Dragon Age: Inquisition MP mode okay with a recording software in medium graphics. Stutters of one second every ten seconds.
I'm sad I gotta have to sacrifice quality for a smoother recording.
Meanwhile, I can't even understand why Shadowplay from Nvidia doesn't work on my laptop. Even more sadness...

Re: What games are you currently playing?
What is it with everyone investing laptops for gaming? I'm telling you laptops simply aren't a great option for high end gaming unless you're REALLY looking to shell out a huge amount of money. Just stick with a Gaming PC, I'll buy a laptop for less high end games.
