Re: What games are you currently playing?
I never understood why people invest in laptops either. I would rather have very old and basic $100 Laptop and Gaming PC than pay $1000 for Laptop and still not get perfect results for newest games.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I don't have a desktop for a few reasons, one being that I was in my last year of studies doing a six month internship in the US, with a dying laptop. The other reason is that I knew I had to be mobile for my first years of work, ans I hadnt a driving license back then, which is really annoying if you want to move a big CPU and two 21'+ screens...
So yeah, I'm sorry I am not good at driving and that it costs a shitload of money here too, but mobility is way more important than what you think about it while considering to either buy a laptop or a desktop.
Ah, shall I also mention that my room in my parents' house was more or less rented all the time during the last past three years and that I was sleeping a few weekends on a couch? A desktop PC can hardly prove worth the investment you put into it in these conditions.
Okay, I'm probably finding bad excuses. I tried to buy a desktop during my stay in the us, but I faced too many constraints to make it worth when compared to a laptop.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
There still exist desktop and screen that don't take much space. Sure, it might not be the best of what we can expect from a “gaming machine”, but it can still be better than a laptop. My gaming PC has the size of, approximately, two GC, and my screen is a little bit less large than my laptop when opened. Of course, when I had to move, they needed to be packed, but hey, so does laundry anyway.
Though if you really need mobility, as it seems to be the case for saerleiya, gaming laptop are relevant. Not the best conditions, but still better than… Well, “normal” laptops?
Or micro-consoles, if that ever get off. I had hopes for Ouya, actually. A tiny game machine that can fit in a pocket, just plug it on a monitor and play directly. Like a Game Hypercube !
Mostly independant games, probably. But with what a console like PSVita can do, it's not improbable that we see a tiny machine powerful enough to bring decent game while being absolutely mobile. (… Nintendo NX, maybe?)

Man, Thousand Year door is quite the trip. Such an awesome game. I own the game, but I might emulate it for my second playthrough so I can play it in HD.
As of now been playing Splatoon and Mortal Kombat X. I'm enjoy Splatoon a fair bit, but holy fuck Mortal Kombat X is so much fun.

Ah yeah, TTYD is super ambitious. I liked the original and Super Paper Mario a lot, but neither exactly captures the same atmosphere. I think my biggest complaint about Sticker Star is probably that while it had a kinda charming world, it felt so lifeless and generic in comparison. In more recent years Nintendo has been trying to keep Mario strictly in the usual Mushroom Kingdom, but that just did not work at all in a Paper Mario game.

I'm currently playing MediEvil.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Unlike Rayfist, I'm enjoying Splatoon's online gameplay. Even if it's two maps, each match feels different and new.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Where did I say I wasn't enjoying it? Your attempts at being funny lately are just annoying now.
And I'm having a lot of fun with ranked battles currently (reached C rank)
I admittedly made a mistake on that first impressions as I said there was only two maps available, there wasn't. Just two per day.
Is the smallest criticism now insulting a game? Jesus. Sorry, Brad. I'll be sure to make my posts filled with 100% Nintendo love.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
First of all, my comment was nowhere trying to be funny. I see no way how you can see my comment in a humorous light. All I was doing was stating my opinion that was contrasted to yours. Second of all, it's not two maps per day, it's two maps per certain amount of hours. The maps cycle between every so hours. And third of all, criticize all you want. I don't give a damn. I'm enjoying the game how it is, a little criticism here and there about Splatoon won't keep me up at night. :p

Re: What games are you currently playing?
It's hard to view it otherwise when all your comments lately have been "LOL RAYMAN 2, overrated shit" "Xenoblade is shit"Bradandez wrote:I see no way how you can see my comment in a humorous light.
You clearly try to rile me up by doing that, and it's annoying now.
I made one tiny criticism and you left a sarcastic remark if you remember. It's happened before, we say $60 is too much for a Mario level editor, you rage.Bradandez wrote:And third of all, criticize all you want. I don't give a damn.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yes, I'm clearing my name. This is slander and I won't stay quiet. Also, rereading my post, I still have no idea how it can be viewed "humorous". Is it how I started it? That was me stating my opinion is unlike yours. :l

Re: What games are you currently playing?
No, it was the "unlike Rayfist" that bothered the shit out of me when I made it SO clear that I am having a good amount of fun with the game.Bradandez wrote:Is it how I started it? That was me stating my opinion is unlike yours. :l
Anyways as for the post it just feel needlesslys as if you were contrasting to me in such an unnecessary way. Did you even read my first impressions? I clearly said I enjoyed a lot, I just don't recommend anyone blows a whole $60 into it as of right now.
Sorry if I blew up on you but you've really been after me lately in few threads and it's getting to the point where I'm kind of getting irked.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Okay, fine. I should have wrote it better than. But to go on about your first impressions, I would say I would agree for most of the part. If someone really wants the game, they have to know that what they see is what they get. If they're fine with that, cool, let them have fun. But if that's not the case, they should wait until more content arrives.
And just today, I bought Mario Party 10 Amiibo Bundle Edition. Never owned a Mario Party, so this will be fun. Especially since my step-sisters are here, we'll have more than enough people to join.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Thanks for understanding. Enjoy Mario Party 10. I'm surprised it took tul the 10th installment for you to finally play one. Least you have someone to play them with. Playing Mario Party solo is quite boring. 4 still remains my favorite.
