Oh my god, you finally got it! I was expecting to get it shipped back to me once again.Truner wrote:Thanks to our very own Clara Knight, god bless her, I have Rayman Origins' CE from France! (:

Well damn, it was difficult but I'm glad it arrived in good state in the end! There's everything inside, right? No game stolen like at first attempt? 'x)
You don't need to thank me, it was a pleasure to help you. c:
Re: Rayman Origins
Yeah, when you said they couldn't find the address for the second time, I thought it was going to head back. Turns out, it wasn't even the main post office dealing with the package, but some kind of other service. Turns out they tried to contact my friend last week as well, but couldn't reach him. They retried again this week.Clara Knight wrote: Oh my god, you finally got it! I was expecting to get it shipped back to me once again.

Re: Rayman Origins
Wow I wasn’t expecting the Apple site to show Origins running on the Mac mini:

Re: Rayman Origins
Interesting publicity to the game.
Re: Rayman Origins
Cool!
Also, I've recently gotten my New 3DS XL (amazing system btw) and I tried Rayman Origins on it. And to my surprise it runs way better than the standard 3DS. It looks better (not that great mind you) and plays a whole lot faster than before. Can anyone else try it on a standard size New 3DS to see if these improvements apply to there?

Re: Rayman Origins
If I had the "new" system I would do that experience. Could you record a video with the game running on a normal 3DS and other video in the new mode? I would like to see a comparision.

Re: Rayman Origins
You're telling me it runs at a steadier framerate?
There are some games that have improved features exclusively for the new 3DS, for example MGS 3D, while didn't improve graphically or imperformance wise, added a new button layout update exclusive for the new 3DS.
In all honesty I'm really doubting Origins looks any better on 3ds, but at a steadier framerate is a possibility. Please record a video comparing the frames.

Re: Rayman Origins
Could be also that UbiSoft has implemented a FPS lock which in the end won't improve anything, but that would be less likely.

Re: Rayman Origins
Correct, which ports like SFIV and MGS 3D had that same problem, a FPS lock.
Re: Rayman Origins
It just runs better. Source: Me.
Can anyone else download the extra levels in Jungle Run? It says the server or network is down. Did they stop supporting this game already?

Re: Rayman Origins
Thanks for the video.
Re: Rayman Origins
Oi, I'll get to it. I just don't have the proper equipment as of now nor do I have the time to do so. But I'll get to it sometime. Eventually.
Re: Rayman Origins
I can do comparison video when I return home myself if you don't end up doing before me. I really don't know when I will return home sadly.
Re: Rayman Origins
I'll see if my crummy iPhone will be good enough to showcase this comparison. I'll try.
Also, Rayman Origins is on sale for $7.49 on the 3DS eShop. Can't hurt to own a digital copy of a game I already on the same system, can it?
