Sorry Mods if you've already got or don't need an unofficial official thread for Rayman (hopefully) at E3 2015, but I thought i'd make it for discussion!
So, if a new Rayman game were to be announced, what kind of game do we all reckon it would be? (e.g a 3D platformer, shoot 'em up, FPS (oh god no) or 2D side scroller? and why do you think they would take this direction?
There are numerous company panels, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, being the main obvious and only console companies. Which would you think is most likely for Rayman to be announced in? For example, GTA V for next gen was announced by Sony a few years back, so do you think they'd announce it under Ubisoft or M$ Or $ony? Perhaps even "back to it's roots" in terms of publication with Nintendo? Let's not forget, they werebringing us Rayman 4, and I guess, still kinda did.
How likely do you think a new rayman or at least a mention would be? There are numerous tweets by the @RaymanGame page on twitter,for example, someone asking for "e3 hints" and their response was "nope! " and an image of a 2D rayman spriting the tongue face!
So those are the main questions I guess I have up for discussion, I mean, It would be likely that a game would and should be announced, and something like a 3D platformer, as we now have Yooka-Laylee! and other platforming games this year and the next, but I highly doubt we'd see a 2015 release unless it was a 2D game and already almost completed or one of those "you'll get it after this conference!" games.
Not the Rayman 4 crap again. But aside that, I still hope they are giving us at least some info about the new Rayman game, if they are even working on one.
I would´nt get my hopes up. But if they would be working on one, or they want to surprise us, well okay. Why not?
But why do the lot of you mention freaking "Rayman 4" a lot? Is it the holy grail or something? There already are many discussions and debates about the thing. But I wouldn't mind if it's 3-dimensional.As long if it feels Rayman to me. I still don't own Rayman Legends of the "back to Origins" saga, I'm not looking forward to another 2D Rayman game.
I only mention Rayman 4 because it had such a hype and all that, I mean, Michel said something about potentially making "Rayman 4 as it was intended" but with different enemies, however, that source was from 2011 (?), I hope a new game is released or (dare I say it), DLC, like the vampire world for Rayman Legends.

Since twitter told us all there's something planned for the anniversary, what a better time and place to announce it than e3?
Personally, I think you're reading in a bit too deep. The Rayman social team is known for being coy with fans, as such, I'd wait for the word to come from the head honchos before setting the hype train ablaze.
That being said, E3 is a logical venue, and hopefully we'll see Rayman in a few hours.
So, 3 hours more to see Rayman's back, I hope they put a video commemorating his anniversary with gameplay/scenes/music from Rayman 1, 2, M, 3, Origins and Legends. (And the Raving Rabbids series[?]).
