Is that article true? I would like to listen an official word of Ubisoft or even Ancel to have full credibility.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
Many websites are saying that Ancel is no longer working on the game

That's a great deal, anyone looking into the PC version should nab that.
Sucks it has the inevitable Uplay though.

It doesn't apply to the US store, damn.

I love how every negative review for Legends on STEAM is Uplay.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
I don't see what's bad about Uplay. It never bothered me that I had to launch it to play Rayman Legends.

I think it's the fragmentation, and Ubi's own bad rep with PC games. Not to mention that RL has had mysterious save file disappearances on PC, something Rayfist has experienced, if memory serves.

A good deal indeed for those who don't have the PC version.Rayfist wrote:That's a great deal, anyone looking into the PC version should nab that.

"It's not a problem for me so why should I care?"
Just kidding, lol.
No, the problem is that Uplay deleted my save files, and apparently this is a common problem. It's very unnecessary DRM too. To have one layer of DRM (steam) and have to download another(Uplay) is unnecessary. Not to mention it's clunky interface. Uplay I do know still is plagued with problems too, I'm not the only one. Ubisoft has a pretty bad rep. with PC gamers. They're pretty awful at porting games to PC.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
I guess they did it that way so the players will be able to share on a platform they can do things with rather than leaving all the stuff to Steam. I guess it's also a question of property and s*** like that. One thing is sure, it's the only game I've ever played which asks you to open a second platform while Steam is active to play it.Rayfist wrote:To have one layer of DRM (steam) and have to download another(Uplay) is unnecessary. At least EA forces to buy and play on its own platform so you won't have to choose the cheapest (they also want to monitor their price and deals XD). At a certain point, my little brother had the first two Mass Effect games on Steam and the last one on Origin. That was quite the funny part.

I don't know this website, but the collector edition still seems available.

That's a second chance for those who missed it!
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
Are you sure that this is the actual thing? It's listed as the "History of Nintendo" in my cart when I purchased it and now I'm worried sick about it.

I think that's something you shall ask to the site staff, not Motormike.Bradandez wrote:Are you sure that this is the actual thing? It's listed as the "History of Nintendo" in my cart when I purchased it and now I'm worried sick about it.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
Can't find their contact information. I think the name is wrong only. The description and the image they use match up with the History of Rayman.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
Like I said I don't know this website. Some french readers just ponited it out to me earlier. Hope you'll get the right book (let me know).
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
Can someone find their contact email for me? I don't have time right now.
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
When I go to the website it says unavalible for purchase for me. Do they really have it in stock?
Re: [Book] The History of Rayman, Pix'n Love Editions.
I was able to buy one. Maybe I got the last one?
