I wasn't really expecting anything, so this is better than nothing.

It looks like they threw it together in a week or two, to be honest. The engine (or at least an earlier version of it) already worked on smartphones and tablets, and 95% of the assets were already imported into the engine. Literally the only thing necessary to make this trailer starting with the sources of Rayman Legends and Fiesta Run as a starting point is make a new design for Rayman, create Barbara's dad(? :P) and quickly create some levels in the UbiArt framework.
The fact that the CGI looks like it required more effort is REALLY bad.

In any case, more of something that's great isn't bad at all to me either - it's better than nothing at all. But the fact that Ancel is working on this means he isn't working on something new, be it a Rayman game that doesn't look like Legends DLC, Beyond Good & Evil 2, WiLD or a completely new game, which is always better than more of something that already exists. So I don't think people really hate Rayman Adventures, they hate that stuff like this is being made while a full Rayman title isn't.

I knew you'd disagree. Fight me Bradandez. Just kidding, don't actually fight me, I'm a terrible fighter. :)

So wait, if it's going to be released in autumn/fall, that's around September-ish (Well not down here it's not) That means this could be the 20th anniversary gift. In which case there's gonna be a lot of disappointment and maybe a few violent riots

Really, I'm fine with this mobile game being released but I honestly hope it's not all we're getting. Not trying to sound greedy or ungrateful or anything.

That doesn't have to be true at all though. He could be multitasking multiple projects and just have two teams (for instance) and have the smaller team do the mobile game while the big team is working on something else!

Also note how they never used the #Rayman20 so I am thinking they've got something else on their sleeves.

I...kind of don't care because as much as I appreciated Origins and Legends, I played Jungle Run as a bonus and that was it for me, I just had enough of the whole UbiArt Framework Rayman era and this is the point where they should stop pumping this stuff out as well, before Rayman as a franchise ends up as Sonic:
using an engine which revolutionized Sonic gameplay in 2008, but it's still here, now in 2015, after 4 games in a row, presented over and over again with very minor modifications, because Sega and Sonic Team wants to play it safe instead of making actual creative content.

I hope that this wasn't meant to celebrate Rayman's 20th anniversary or else I'm gonna be very...

Rayman's facebook page are real cool, a̶l̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶i̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶e̶a̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶s̶t̶a̶n̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶b̶r̶i̶n̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶u̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶m̶o̶b̶i̶l̶e̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶i̶c̶h̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶h̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶p̶h̶o̶n̶e̶ and I messaged them, asking if they'd confirm whether or not it's an "official 20th" game or not, but no answer yet, also, notice how almost every post they've made, they comment, but on this one they don't? Sure, they ignore most of the "RAYMAN 4 PLZ" crap but some they actually answer, but they've not answered anyone's questioning regarding 20th yet.

yet.

There's still hope! If not, well, i̶'̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶u̶n̶t̶ ̶M̶i̶c̶h̶e̶l̶ ̶A̶n̶c̶e̶l̶ ̶d̶o̶w̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶c̶e̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶R̶E̶A̶L̶ ̶3̶D̶ ̶t̶i̶t̶l̶e̶ i'll probably just cry.

Didn't the previous mobile games come after one of each UbiArt games? Jungle Run after Origins, Fiesta Run after Legends. This could just as well be a teaser for a new UbiArt game

If that's true, I wouldn't be too satisfied either. I really want a 3D Rayman adventure to happen finally. :?

Personally, the announcement of this game was kind of meh for me (CGI is awful tho)
But the moment I saw Rayman's new design,I almost screamed.

Since 2003,Rayman's design has really never changed completly, just slight changes have been made to the hoodie,or another little parts.
But just to down right pull a DLC look as Rayman's standard look? Like,he looks like something out of a Assasin's Creed DLC from Legends!
Not only that,to eliminate Rayman's iconic white circle from his chest and change it to a little silly jacket with a white shirt, also his shoes, and a stupid bandana, doesen't make anything better :pascontent:
One thing, maybe they did this to REALLY MEAN that this is Rayman's 20th birthday, but at the same time, that's all you have to celebrate it? A change of look? (to worse in my opinion)
I've never had a problem with the mobile games (I got Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Jungle Run,they're not incredible, but they are fun if you're bored)
On top of that, why did they change Rayman's looks......and Barbara still looks the same?
I'm scared that the big red bearded man is going to be a following character in this game...he appears at the end of the level (as shown in the video) and in the back of the official art.Like, they could put Globox...or the Teensies...
OH RIGHT
THEY ARE NOT IN THIS GAME (atleast for now...)

Well, I guess I worded that badly. We know that Ancel is definitely working on BG&E2 and WiLD next to Rayman Adventures. Seeing as he is working on 3 projects, do you see him working on a full Rayman game anytime soon? I don't. It just smells like Ubisoft asked Ancel to do another Rayman game for his 20th anniversary, and they rushed this one out so they could continue working on other projects.

Except both mobile games reused assets from the corresponding UbiArt game. This one still reuses assets from Rayman Legends.

He could do like in Rayman 3, he didn't work in the game, he had only an advisory role.

lol wat? No. The CGI is more or less the quality of the Epic E3 Trailer. I can't help but detect some salt in this comment.

I really hope there's gonna be more than this. I was expecting a new 3D platformer for His 20th.
