What did I do!? I didn’t do anything bad.Hoodcom wrote:Are you posting just to piss me off with your whining?Fifo wrote:Are you posting just to make it harder for me to beat you with my ting count?Bzzit wrote:I was playing RRR on PC for the first time in years. Now do you see how much sense that made? Seriously Fifo, that's freaking pathetic.
You made me really sad by donating some Tings to Bzzit and not even donating a single ting to me.

Ah, yes, the PC version of RRR. I do find controlling the mouse for some of the minigames like the first one with the present really fucking annoying where you have to drag the mouse up and down constantly. But holy shit those First Person plunger levels are probably best played on PC. I kind of wish you would be able to actually fully control those instead of it being entirely on rails.Bzzit wrote:I was playing RRR on PC for the first time in years. Giving your inexperience with the puzzle/adventure genre I already know you're going to struggle with the later dungeons without the use of a walkthrough.Oldclassicgamer wrote:I played a bit of Ocarina of Time on 3DS
Next you'll try to tell us Mario surpasses Zelda for it's 'simplicity', LOL. Into the trash it goes.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Mario does not surpass Zelda nor does Zelda surpass Mario. They are different types of games. Only thing that I can say is that Mario is more suited for my personal taste but that does not mean Zelda is any less good of a series.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Haha, I actually gave up using the mouse + kb on that present minigame and reverted to the Xbox 360 controller for the entirety of the game. Kinda wish I used mouse + kb for plunger sections though as that's usually my go to control method for 1st person shooters.Rayfist wrote:Ah, yes, the PC version of RRR. Re: What games are you currently playing?
Zelda is better. The series has way more thought and artistic views put into it without the need of constant rehashing. (New Super Mario Bros, anyone?)OCG wrote:Mario does not surpass Zelda nor does Zelda surpass Mario. They are different types of games. Your mind just can't handle the fact Zelda is more diverse in it's games than Mario will ever be.
Think about this: Every Zelda game has a different style, all beautiful and unique (even some of the shitty ones like SS). Mario just constantly rehashes its style hardly adding much innovative. I prefer Zelda for it's diversity in it's style and more exciting gameplay. I think you simply can't comprehend how great these games are because you grew up with platformers.
(By the way I'm joking around with you, OCG)

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Played a bit of Rocket League on Ps4. Very fun game for multiplayer and is definitely better than Fifa
Re: What games are you currently playing?
To be honest, I don't like sport games at all :/
I suck at FIFA.
P.S: BioShock (1) review coming *soon!

I don't usually play sports games either but Rocket League is basically football without all the restrictive rules and players substituted for futuristic cars so it's super fun !

The Uncharted trilogy. I finished the first yesterday, and I really liked it. playing the 2nd game now.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've mostly been playing Smash 4 on my 3DS. I worked so hard to get the Rayman trophy only to realize it's not in the 3DS version. Well crap.
Also the Professor Layton games. The ending of Unwound Future... yeah. It was quite of an ending. *sobs in the corner*

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've always wanted to play Professor Layton, I just don't know if I'm patient (or smart) enough to handle those puzzles.
I've been on a Mario Party 2 marathon, blasting through each board. Aside from the minigames just being better than later games, the design and AI is also just perfect. Not too easy, not too unfair. I get the concept has been milked to death, but if Mario Party 10 just had solid minigames and boards, I think no one would really mind, Mario Party 8 didn't suck because it got boring but because it's just straight up bad game design at times.

I must confess that I cheated a lot on the puzzles (not all the time tho) because I got so invested in the story and mysteries that I had to know what happens next.Keane wrote:I've always wanted to play Professor Layton, I just don't know if I'm patient (or smart) enough to handle those puzzles.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
FINALLY finished Metal Gear Solid 4. The ending was very bitter sweet. There are few endings to some characters I found particularly cringe worthy (Meryl and Johnny being married), but despite all the dislikes I've heard towards the ending for Snake, I really liked it. I think this was a very good conclusion for Snake. It pretty much implies that death is indeed near Snake, but Snake wants to live the rest of his life in peace so his legacy will carry on before his death. Just ending the game with Snake killing himself would really upset me. We see Snake, an old man, knowing his time is short but we see him actually try to reach a purpose with the very little time he has left and I think THAT is a good ending for Solid Snake fans.
...As for the game itself. It was okay. Aside from the good conclusion, there were a lot of really odd plot decisions that I didn't get. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these plot elements were last minute decisions by Konami The whole Ocelot being Liquid to fool the Patriots bs, and Big Boss coming back to life using parts of Liquid and Solidus.
One problem I had with the game is it really likes to 'show off'. What I mean by this is the game is so sucked up in itself of being a conclusion that it ignores many segments where they could put gameplay. "OH look how Old Snake is now! He even has a stress meter."
I'm sure it comes as no surprise, gameplay is little in this game, and that's MGS 4's biggest sin. It really is upsetting they model all these guns and give you a huge arsenal of weapons to use.... only so you can use them for maybe 3-4 hours worth of gameplay. Otherwise the game is probably an 8/10 for me as a Metal Gear fan.
Anyways I should be finishing up my Metal Gear Marathon with Portable Ops and Peace Walker. Then I'm all caught up!
