Very cheap. Brad, perhaps you should file a dispute on your previous order and buy this for 20€

A good chance for those who still do not have it, but then shipping enters... ^^'

Yeah, that'd be great but if only those jerks could at least reply to the dozen of e-mails I've sent them. I patiently waited because that's what I did last time when I had concerns, but now they got my money and won't even help me out with this situation! If they didn't reply then, what makes you think they're gonna reply now?

EDIT: Contacted the guy who is selling his copy for 20 euros. Said he's not shipping to US. dick

I really dislike sellers like that. Like why would they deny to ship outside their country if buyer wanted to pay insurance and everything? I hope someone from France can help you.

Why don't people who can't read French just use the google translate app? If you hold your device over foreign text, 9 times out of 10 it translates it correctly, and you can read it all with an english translation just by using a phone or tablet!

Is it still available?

I don't think you understand the issue. It's not the language barrier but rather a fact that seller does not want to send it outside France.

BTW, Google Translate never works good. Try translating between English and Japanese for example. Translation is very poor.

I guess I'm stuck with trying to find my package on my own then. Wish me luck.

Many shipping companies are notoriously slow at responding to queries, so since you contacted them just over a week ago, maybe they'll reply soon? Alternatively, I just found the seller's fb and they seem to be actively responding to queries, so you could send them a message there asking for the whereabouts of your package: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Librairi ... 8848697021

If you don't receive a response within the next 1-2 weeks or so, I think it's safe to assume your package has been sent back to the original seller, as your earlier post suggested (most serious businesses should put return addresses on their packages, from my experience) and that you'll have to re-order a copy. They have no obligation to work with you for a refund or free re-shipping as, unfortunately, the incorrect address was your mistake. i say this mainly because of ocg's suggestion of sending a (fradulent) claim, not to talk down to you, apologies

Best of luck. :(

edit: snipped out like 50 parts cause i can't write

Now this is the real kicker! The shipping company actually replied to me! And they replied within a day! Here's what they said.
Image
So apparently it's not their problem! Fan-effing-tastic! Went to the post office like the e-mail suggested. They couldn't help me there. So yeah, that was really pointless.

And then I messaged the seller like you suggested. First I messaged them on Sunday. Gave it while. No reply. Then I messaged them on Thursday.
Image
That was their response. That's it. After the numerous attempts of contacting them, they replied with just a thumbs up. I went to extremes in detailing the situation and I even said it was a typo on my part. But that reply was the final straw. I messaged them saying if I didn't get a proper response by Sunday, I will be demanding a refund. I've had it with them.

Woah, maybe it was an automated message, but this is just being me optimistic. The guy who swallowed my money with the RTCW Limited Edition at least replied that there's nothing he can do if the TRACKED!!! package randomly disappeared halfway through it's journey.
Also, right now I'm waiting for the delivery of a Wii game which is also getting unsettlingly delayed as two days have already passed from the "Expected Delivery" and the tracking information says that it has already arrived to my country and is in the process of being transported to my actual address, so fingers crossed.

If this doesn't arrive either which would be the second of such outcomes, I will never ever again buy stuff on ebay from people not having that badge thingy near their usernames.

Anyway, let's keep it optimistic here.

How difficult is it just to send an item from one location to the next, it's so methodical, there's no ambiguity as to where it's going. It says where it's going and you put it on the vehicle that goes there. How fucking hard is that? This is partially one of the reasons why I didn't consider purchasing the book, aside from not being able to read French, and not a lot of money.

I've actually considered getting this book, that is, if it ever gets an English version as I don't understand French.

I bought this book because it was the Collector's Edition that came with the artbook. The artbook was the big factor on making this $71 purchase.

Well, clearly someone is at fault here, and they realistically deserve to give Brad a refund.

BRAINFART EDIT: Okay, I talked this through with a good buddy and something clicked. Thinking about it further (and huge apologies to Brad and Rayfist for being a poo), I think you could potentially file a claim with your bank/Paypal to get the money for the book back- but NOT the shipping. You may wish to fight to get the money you spent on the book, making the claim that you never received it or were given any indication that it was sent back to the seller and could be re-sent to you. Cite that the company you bought from has failed to answer your request for support as to the whereabouts of your package/a refund for the book.
I'm not 100% sure this type of claim would be approved, but I think it's worth a try- especially for the amount you paid for the book alone. If you paid through Paypal: hop over to the Resolution Centre, find the transaction and the site should be clear from there. If it was through your bank, I've never made a claim through my bank so I'm not sure how that would work.
