Assuming the NX is not gimmicky trash.

I am placing my bets that NX is not even a home console. So I do have my doubts on how the system will end up being. Rumors already say it is weaker than PS4. Wii U is also weaker than PS4. I believe that NX migth be some upgrade for Wii U. Something similar to what N64DD was in Japan for N64.

Waluigi is in there.. I wouldn't believe so much in that, because Waluigi is an Assist Trophy, let's be honest, he couldn't enter as a DLC. And as I said, that doesn't mean anything, there are millions of people voting in the Ballot, the page's surveys is to see how it's doing every character, but not every person in the world is in the same page, so that's because every survey is different, in one you see Rayman at the top 5 and in others you see Rayman in the Top 20, but you don't have to believe every survey you see.

Snake won't be coming back, Bayonetta just cannot fit in no matter how hard they try, Shovel Knight is way too new and Japan knows next to nothing about him, Ice climbers are just impossible (for shame) and Waluigi just won't happen either. that'd place Rayman on 6th place. and the ballot isn't even mean as a 'most votes win' survey becauseSakurai and his team read all of them and just pick the best ideas. Yes I do. The only Reason he was in in the first place was because Kojima and Sakurai are friends and now that Kojima left Konami. Hope for snake is dead. sorry.

Her regular attacks don't help either because they're based on quite.. bloody methods of killing the enemy off. she really really really REALLY doesn't fit and it kinda saddens me but she just won't be happening.

Snake's presence in brawl is due to Kojima, yes. Future DLC will be based on the Sm4sh ballot (stated by Sakurai). I would very well see Konami pushing for a return if Snake were to be on top of the list, especially to promote The Phantom Pain.

Shulk is already half naked and so is Zero Suit Samus with high heels so ridiculously disproportionate it made some lad called Sarkeesian go apeshit. They can handle nudity, especially when they backed Sega with multi-million dollars to ensure Bayonetta 2 will exist. They knew what they were getting into.

Greninja and Shulk are in Sm4sh, if they are old then I'm the queen of England. But I'll agree that Shantae is the most likely indie-character to get into the game, but them filthy japanese are faulty for that. Plus, Shovel Knight could create awareness for the game to be released in Japan.
