It was a joke, fucking calm down with your essay of a response. :boon:
This is why SU fans have a bad rep.
If you like Steven Universe that's perfectly fine, I'm sure the show has some good moments but you don't need to type me a literal essay on why it's good out of something I was just joking/over exaggerating.

You know, I have never heard you speak about any cartoons you like, Rayfist. Which are some of your favorite cartoons?

I'd love to. I'm not a huge fan of modern cartoons to make it clear, I'm sure there are some good ones, but I just don't really have the time.
Some of my favorites include:

Invader Zim: I know this show also gets a bad rep from tumblr people, but I loved this show and it's incredibly morbid/dark humor while still being really funny. It's pretty easy to see why the show got cancelled.

Ed Edd n Eddy: This show also has rather dark humor, but not in the way Invader Zim did, I just loved the really 'trippy' art style and it's downright constant fucking stupid humor.

Drawn Together Season 1 and 2: This is an adult show based on characters from other universes crossing into one show. Disney, Pokemon, Superheroes, etc. The show is honestly hilarious imo but very nsfw if you're gonna look it up.

Those are my top 3 but if we're to give any special mentions: Hey Arnold, Johnny Bravo, Cat-dog, Chalk-Zone, Teen Titans, among few others. I grew up with a lot of nick and cartoon network.

It was when I was 14-15 when I stumbled upon Newgrounds and became obsessed with flash cartoons, unfortunately I've never done one of my own.

Damn, we have such a different taste when it comes to games but our taste in cartoons is so similar. I consider Invader Zim and Ed, Edd, & Eddy some of my favorite cartoons of all time. Both shows inspired me to be a cartoonist and they did help me develop my comedy style. And Drawn Together is absolutely one of the funniest animated adult series. It's really fucked up, but man is it some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.

And yeah, Newgrounds is such a nostalgic place for me. I plan on making a Flash cartoon myself one of these days, so we're kind of on the same boat.

That's cool. I typically love those type of really dark humor cartoons.
I also remember really enjoying the first four seasons of Spongebob, I actually watched the show when it first launched or maybe around launch as a kid yearrrrrrs ago, good times.

Yeah Spongebob was an instant hit with me right from the start, I know some of those episodes by heart.

I also really loved Pokemon. I've heard Pokemon also had a bit of a downfall (though supposedly it's crawled back up to its original standard with Gen 6) but from the seasons I watched (1-3) it really upheld the same charm as the games.

I don't know if I'd count Pokemon as a cartoon, more as an anime, which I know is the same thing, but I'd rather post it on the anime topic.
On that note though, yes I was a huge fan of the Pokemon show back then. Looking back at it though, it's REALLY aged horribly with it's dialogue, but still there's some sense of timeless wonder with it.

Rayfist > Don't worry, I understood the exaggeration, and my message wasn't intended to be aggressive. I just have a bad tendency to write a lot in general.
And I wasn't that much trying to defend Steven Universe rather than discussing the rumored relation between the show and SJW-oh-no-run-away. Those thought weren't particularly addressed to you, but your message depicted perfectly my point. :3

Btw I'm one page late but yeah, Over the Garden Wall is an excellent cartoon! :D

Woah, I thought I saw most of SU and decided to give it a short break, I stopped watching around the sword fighting episode. Now all I see when I do see any SU screenshots are new scenes I've never seen before... Are there really that many new episodes out already?
Still, reading that stuff about Ed Edd & Eddy reminded me, I haven't seen that show in ages and I used to love it! Well, looks like I'll be spending the rest of the day watching EE&E now instead of SU as I had previously intended...

It's been a long time since I didn't watched a cartoon, about a year.

Sounds like Ambi missed a lot of the eps then. There's about 9 eps after that one because they keep releasing "bombs" of new episodes over the week as opposed to a regular schedule.

By the way, is it just really me or people cannot really handle randomness? This is gonna be really controversial, but I actually like Breadwinners, and other shows that are underrated due to being "omg plots so nub laik unkle granpa killin a fb monsta!!!" What's wrong with that? The shows are made for people to enjoy, and I'm going to be replied with "lol bredwinna' ain't fo' anyoneayaya" but, I enjoy the show. I don't care about the randomness, because that's how the show fuels of it. Now, no, I do not enjoy fart/poop jokes, actually, I am neutral in that theme. But what's with all the fight against randomness? Internet is also random and it'll always be.

By the way, it's my opinion. Nobody asked, somebody replied anyway.
