According to my calculations, the freestyle theme will be going on for at least another 3 weeks, 4 days, 50 minutes and 34 seconds.

It will be freestyle until I consider this contest popular enough to have themes again. The problem with themes is that they eventually got so specific that no one entered sigs for them, presumably because they didn't know what to do for them. There's been a lot more entries in these freestyle ones but you still get the contests where only 4 sigs are entered so i'm still doubtful themes could work.

Ok, I already have done so in the french SOTM (which is under my responsibility).

I thought only the french forums were concerned by the lack of activity, sorry for the disagreement.

Do not worry, I never really discussed the on going freestyle since I never felt the need to discuss it.

Yeah I'd rather keep this Freestyle until this contest is popular. But to be really honest, Freestyle is the only way to go. I think themes are a bit too limiting.

Themes can be really limiting yes but the main reason they were introduced where to actually get people to submit different sigs since freestyle allows people to submit same sigs multiple times in a row (yes there is a limit to submission but I mean more multiple people submitting the same meaning you just saw the same sigs over and over).

I do overall prefer freestyle myself because the limit as we've seen in previous contests have had much rather bad side effects. Although I have no real problem introducing themes again but as mentioned only if the popularity of this contest goes up.

Themes are fine, I liked them better actually, but yeah we need more participators. I don't mind Freestyle at all, it's just that most people submit whatever sig they actually use at the moment, and it's more fun to see people actually make them for the contest. I'm willing to start participating regularly to boost the contest a little, but don't expect any winning material from me.

Anyway, turns out the shadow did make the sig larger, it just didn't show it. I'll get it fixed.

300 is too much. 285 i'd be ok with but anymore is a no no.

EDIT : On similar note I want to take the time here to say that if i'm sounding too serious about this or just in general on this site I do apologise. I do not mean to make out that i'm being, for a lack of better terms, "ms strict britches" I just tend to be very to the point these days which means I may make myself out to sound like that even if it's far from the intention.

Going back to the height limit thing as previously mentioned i'm willing to increase it to 285 at the absolute max. Do you all think this is alright or do you think it should stay? Or does anyone want to suggest a new but lower height limit?

I would be all for increasing it to 285, there's a lot of large sigs roaming around RPC anyway. and i wouldn't have to edit out my shadow

250-265. I just kind of like the neater compact look of shorter, longer sigs more than tall ones.
