Re: Favourite tabletop games
Mmmm, hard to tell…
Settlers of Catane is a classic one. My friend and I have played so much of this game, it holds a special place in my hearts.
Shadow & Hunters is cool too. Great mechanics, simple enough, and it creates good dynamic around the table to determine who is on which team.
Citadels is nice too. I've got a little tired of it, but it's pretty efficient.
Finally, Fictionary is an basic game that bring always some laughs. =) I like how it can be quickly explained, set up, and played.
Recently, I bought Welcome to the Dungeon. While I don't had that much games with it, it has really simple mechanics that allows to have nice interactions between the players. It's mostly bluff and risks, I like that.

Hmm, I've met people who've played stuff like Dungeons and Dragons, never played it myself, but I've always been a bit curious about it.

Re: Favourite tabletop games
A few years ago some sort of Polish government agency released a game called "Queue", about standing in queues, and it's surprisingly good.
That said my current favourite is High Voltage. Surprisingly thorough in the way it's thought up.

It appears that everybody around here started to default to Munchkin when it comes to anything tabletop.

Re: Favourite tabletop games
In primary school, when we had no lessons because teacher was sick or something, we had two games available: "mushroom picker", which was most stupid game ever, and a local Monopoly ripoff. The latter was quite hilarious, now I think of it.

Re: Favourite tabletop games
Jenga is a nice game, but recently they started to pack it into stupid huge cylinder box. I have no idea why.
