Re: Bucket List
Well it's good that we're different, else the world would be quite boring.

Re: Bucket List
I'm not very selective about how I die really, though I imagine that when it does happen, it will be by my hand and it will be my choice.
Re: Bucket List
Bump. I wanna see some more of these or whether them life goals changed for anyone.
Re: Bucket List
Well, I believe it may be time to make my own bucket list. Here we go.
- - Reach 5000 subscribers with my Youtube channel
- Learn Russian
- Contribute to the video game industry
- Ultimately conduct and create my own video game
- Learn Bach's BWV 554 and 558
- Get a girlfriend
Re: Bucket List
At least get a cartoon series of my own. And finish Elem, Jeens, and Eli before 2030.

I can understand Russian a bit because it is slavic language but I also need to learn it better after Japanese.

That one is quite easy if you have no friends or are a severe germophobe.DandyGuy wrote:- Beat Rayman 1 without getting touched

Re: Bucket List
Life dreams:
* have the actual determination to learn piano again
* finish about 50 games I wrote on a post-it note in my room
* draw a huge beautiful pencil drawing of some kind
* spend some time at sea on my own (with wi-fi
)
* get a house with a basement filled with videogame consoles and a mini fridge
* become a slightly famous let's player with at least 10,000 views each video (I wouldn't want to get too famous though)
* get a beautiful girlfriend
Unrealistic:
* earn lots of money for something
* get a water flume from my front room to the kitchen that winds around my house
* be able to live for as long as I wanted
* become a cat with thumbs that's as intelligent as a human
* have the actual determination to learn piano again

Realistic:
- Directing a theatrical 2D animated film that I developed.
Unrealistic:
- Finding Rayman 2 fun again.

Re: Bucket List
Ah, that's a shame. I think the game has almost no replay value at all, more of an experience than for the gameplay (unlike R3, that I could play over many times more than R2 without getting bored even though I like R2 better)Bradandez wrote:Unrealistic:

Re: Bucket List
Do you guys really play that game a lot? I can't see the point, other than to experience it again like rewatching a movie. But rewatching a movie too many times can even make a great movie boring and I wouldn't want the same thing happen to Rayman 2.
Rayman 3 is more gameplay centric though, so I'd find it harder to get bored of it. Though I like R2 more than R3 as a whole, I still find R3 more fun as a game.

Re: Bucket List
@ Ambi : Funny you mention that because I don't really have a means of playing R2 anymore because 1. my PC is too modern and 2. my PS2 is playing up on me.
But otherwise my problem is not so much people not liking R2 (because that's your opinion and all that) but is more direct at Bradandez who is forever going on about how much he hates the game. People are allowed to hate it yes and be vocal about it but there comes a point where hearing nothing but "ugh fucking R2" is much too over done, to put it lightly.

Re: Bucket List
Has he ever explained why he doesn't like it? 'Cause it's probably my favourite game of all time (despite my not wanting to play it again) and I've never heard anyone disliking it really...

The meme renaissance is over, prepare for the age of meme shaming.

____
* Move back out of the United States
* Improve/expand my ability to make music & actually start producing it
* Complete and publish my writing before 2030
* Get into drawing, film, etc
* Become involved in political movements regarding corporate money in politics + climate change
* Visit Australia, Japan and Italy
* Overcome anxiety problems
* Attend a Radiohead concert
* Sleep with Michel Ancel
Unrealistic
* Actually hold a form of major influence in politics
* It's a vague idea but I'd like to be involved with making a game, I've written out a ton of concepts in the past
* Find myself one of those grillfriends, or maybe a boyfriend. They have to like Rayman though, and preferably Rayman 2, but also admit that Rayman 1 is a close second
