Rayman Unity (also known as Firewood Plaza) is a 3D platformer for PC and Linux, with a release window in late 2016 / early 2017.

Plot
You wake up in a forest, unaware of how, when, why or who, and you wander around for a while. You finally notice something, civilization perhaps? Alas, it is just a statue. A statue of a great video game hero, Rayman! You scratch your head, confused, as you used to play his games as a child but after the years of waiting for another 3D adventure, you kind of just, gave up all hope on him.
Suddenly, Ezio Autidore, Vaas Montenegro and Jade, all characters from their own Ubisoft titles, approach you and explain that their leader, Rayman, had been missing for days. Vaas explains that each year, these characters visit this forest called "firewood forest", to the deserted plaza, which hasn't been busy in years, to set up a camp and train up for their next big titles, however, not all characters are expected to get sequels, but they still attend because they're all family. Rayman is speculated missing, and without the training, the other unlikely heroes have no strength or bravery to find Rayman, so it's up to you!
How it works
I will be releasing each "episode" which consists of probably, 3-4 levels, think of it as a "cut the rope" title, where there are seperate sections with 12 levels in each. These will be in a .zip file, which I will release to the public when done. I'm aiming for at least 5 "episodes" and 5-10 levels in each, so thats alot.
What about cutscenes and stuff!?!?!?! Can i audition for a part as _________________?
No, sorry, I will be hand drawingthe cutscenes and placing them either in the game itself, for you to read like a story or i'll just put them in seperate folder, think of it as a "choose your own adventure" story, as you'll be playing and half way through you'll see a sign which prompts you to "open cutscene number 4!". It sounds lazy and not very creative but It's a little different.
Release date?
I'm aiming for a late 2016 - mid 2017 release, but don't worry, i'll continue to share screenshots and release dev builds to the general public, you!in fact, at the bottom of this page, you will find the very first ever build for RU:FP, but don't expect amazing gameplay or whatever, it's literally a very choppy barebones level which consists of generic platforming elements, but feel free to roam the rest of the land, as there maybesome hidden easter eggs and hints for what to expect for the realrelease!
