Re: Rayman Legends
I wonder if a used costume code will work in other systems. Can someone share me one privately to test out? If it works it would be nice sharing codes to add later for RayWiki.
Also, I would like to ask help to PS3 players. I need some friends to play challenges for some time in order I can obtain the Bronze and Silver trophies linked with beating up friends scores. I would be thankfull!

Re: Rayman Legends
Just to clarify it again to everyone:
The reason I could really use a 360 save file of Legends which has the player equipped one of the exclusive costumes is because I was able to isolate the coding of the equipeed character data in Legends and through memory editing I was able to edit my save file to use the UbiRay costume which therefore stays equipped and IS seen by every other users as long as I don't change to any other costume.
It may not be the case, but since I CAN edit the game's memory data to use the exclusive costumes in the PC version, with a 360 save file (which again, has an exclusive costume as the corrently equipped one) I could isolate the coding of that exclusive costume and try using that code in the PC version to see if the 360 version's exclusive costumes are in a playable state in the PC version. If they are, then all I have to do is to get a save file, check it's coding at the right places and put it into the PC save file for testing.
If anyone other than Brad has a 360 save file of Legends that I've descibed earlier, it'd be great if I could have it to try this out.
P.S.: Anyone can get a 360 save file out of the their system with the use of Horizon (yes, even with un-modded consoles). All you have to do is to:
1. Format your flash drive on your 360 to be used as a 360 memory unit.
2. Copy your save file to it.
3. Use Horizon to extract the copied save file from the flash drive.
4. Bam! You have a 360 save file on your PC and you can send it to me.

Re: Rayman Legends
Alright guys, thanks to the diligent assistance of raymanHUN I was able to get my hands onto a 360 save file which has Splinter Ray equipped as a player character.
I also found that with minor differences the coding structure of the PC and 360 Legends save files are almost exactly the same which enabled me to attempt this experiment.
The results were pretty hilarious though.

As you can see, I did succeed in injecting the new character data into the PC version, the problem is that the game doesn't recognize it, because as I found out by this outcome, the proper coding of the Splinter Ray skin probably doesn't exist in the PC version. There is no player character to play as in this state and if you go to the My Stuff screen, the player's avatar is empty as well.
With that said: No unused/hidden playable Splinter Ray in the PC version.

But that may not be the case for other exclusive skins....

Re: Rayman Legends
They're not in PC version, I already extracted the game, exclusive aren't there from what I remember
, you can still mod the game to put splinterray but that'd need redesigning the whole sprite palette or replacing the 360 sprite with a PC sprite

Re: Rayman Legends
Not even one of them? That's a pity. Well, at least I was able to enable UbiRay, that's certainly something.
Right now with raymanHUN we're trying to figure out if the coding of UbiRay can be injected into a 360 save file to be used the same way I'm using it in my PC save.

Re: Rayman Legends
UbiRay is in game files, named "rayman_pack_ubisoft_001_0.tga.ckd", I'll try also try to mod savesSpyroGuy wrote:Not even one of them? That's a pity. Well, at least I was able to enable UbiRay, that's certainly something.

Re: Rayman Legends
The second experiment regarding the injection of UbiRay's player coding into a 360 save file failed gloriously because I forgot about how the unmodded 360 detects if a file was edited and therefore doesn't allow it to be used.

Re: Rayman Legends
If you want to have UbiRay in your PC save file, just send me your file and I enable it.
Re: Rayman Legends
Thanks, but I can do it by extracting textures, thanks again for asking
Guys, I think this is going too far: http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... 7-welp.png

Re: Rayman Legends
I assume you mean texture hacking but with my solution you get the original player character itself which is also seen by everyone.
Re: Rayman Legends
Oh yeah right, ugh, welp lemme see if I can do it XD

Re: Rayman Legends
Man, it took me quite a research to figure this method out and I want to make your life easier with my findings.
Just send me your save file from your documents folder and I send it back with UbiRay in it.

Re: Rayman Legends
Can't you give me another link? This one either downloads itself forever or just plain freezes.

Since Dropbox seems to be dead atm, I'll send it to you through Skype.

Thanks, works fine

Here's my save file, could you please give me Ubi-Ray? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4XwMK ... sp=sharingSpyroGuy wrote:Man, it took me quite a research to figure this method out and I want to make your life easier with my findings.
