Yeah.
Pretty much.

Ubisoft or Ancel? I will always believe what he says over Ubi.Haruka wrote:So people here are implying that what Ubisoft says does not matter. Fantastic.
I will totally trust a random guy who never worked on any Rayman game way more than company in charge of his games.sergiomonty wrote:Well.Haruka wrote:So people here are implying that what Ubisoft says does not matter. Fantastic.

Well, Ancel never said it was reboot. I believe if he wanted it to be reboot, he would say it himself. I mean, rebooting franchise is a big thing.DandyGuy wrote:Ubisoft or Ancel? I totally agree about all of what you said but, that's all we have for now to play, before a possible future new Rayman game.SpyroGuy wrote:Probably is, but I don't really care atm for two reasons:
1. No matter what the game has, I can't play it unless it gets a console and/or a PC port.
2. Kung Foot is already available in Legends which I can play whenever the heck I desire, so this news really is nothing special to me. I would have never known it until I've managed to try the game myself and could have still lived a happy life.![]()
In a nutshell: The game about which we already knew that it mostly uses recycled content of Legends is announced to use even more recycled content of Legends! YAY! I guess.
The only way they could make it interesting is to finally implement online multiplayer into it, which will probably not happen, but who knows?

Underused or not, I've still seen it before yet I must agree that Legends indeed had a number of locations which would have deserved more relevancy.Bionichute wrote:By recycled content from Legends, you mean "Actually using Legend's underused level concepts to make fun and unique levels" right?
Not so much mystery and magic, but more like it makes it feel like a world that's been lived in.Keane wrote:when it's raining in Picture City, stuff that makes you feel those feels and go "wow raman's world is so mystery n magic".

Or listening to The Bog of Murk at Night while gazing at the Hoodlums' airship things in the distance and wondering what the hell that plesiosaurish thing we've already seen at the very beginning of the game is doing in the skies. xDKeane wrote: Y'know, that moment when Curious Globox plays and you check out the Fairy Council structure, or when it's raining in Picture City, stuff that makes you feel those feels and go "wow raman's world is so mystery n magic".

That sounds a bit damage control-ishBionichute wrote:By recycled content from Legends, you mean "Actually using Legend's underused level concepts to make fun and unique levels" right?
This is plausible. RL was such a great game that it would have been hard to top that with a new one without it being too similar.GOT4N wrote:Is my theory crazy? I think that Rayman Adventures is here to close trilogy and to see what sales it does, and that if it does good sales (it will probably), Ancel might consider again making a new Rayman on console to promote it more
