Here are some of my stages. I especially recommend you to try Mario's Adventure, Mario's Fun Packed Castle Stage and Mental Mansion.
Personally I like the last one the best, but I must warn you it's rather hard!

I wasn't saying they weren't, I was just super tired at the time. The thwomp at the end of mental mansion was pretty funny, although I only tried the door out of desperation.

It's pretty short, but newcomers may have difficulty finishing it.

(I may also refine it later on but it's my first level so please be gentle.)

That's what I've been wondering as well. How will Nintendo release a new Mario platformer now? I'm pretty sure they'll find a way though.

Edit: Well, I finished it first try and although it's quite short and not too hard I did really enjoy it
Note of critique: Maybe you should try adding some more depth to it, as right now the hallway is quite empty

There never was a need for another after U, let's be real. Regardless, I can't wait to get the game.
It's a shame there's no slopes though.
