< tried out OSRS recently too, but < still doesn't get the whole appeal to MMORPGs. Too much walking around and watching an animation of your character swing his sword, not enough engaging gameplay. It's probably good that < doesn't like mermorpugs though because if < did, < would probably get addicted.

That's pretty much the reason < is on and off with RS, < finds it more enjoyable when there's stuff to do (eg. Quests, general hanging out with other players, the mini games), not when mindlessly grinding.

Though RS is fairly primitive when it comes to MMOs, < is sure there's far more immersive ones out there.

<'s first day as a studio intern was today. < feels so lucky to have the opportunity to work with and be taught by some really talented professional 3D animators. < won't be doing anything particularly spectacular, but it's always really neat to see the process of animating video game characters and assist on them.
