What games are you currently playing?

Been playing Bloodborne recently. It took me about 6 hours just to get to the first boss, but once I got to it I beat it on my third attempt. After that things got a bit easier for me and quite frankly this is the most fun I've had in a souls-like to date.
Father Gascoigne is already one of my favourite videogame bosses ever mostly because its a completely fair fight, he is your equal, he uses weapons you can get right at the start of the game and the attacks those weapons give you. Its pretty much a pvp fight without lag. More games need boss fights were at least one boss is your characters equal, then its actually a skill based fight.

So I've been playing Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the past week, and its definitely one of my top games for the Vita right now. The remixed tracks are all really good and the new songs hold up very well too.

PAC-MAN 256! This game is pretty nice and it's for mobiles only, it's like a no-end-runna' where you play as Poc-Mun and POWER-UPS! But ye' gotta use TOKENS, how do you get 'em? By waiting! Power-ups are cool but you can't use them whenever you want to, gotta pick the SLIP outta them from the GROUND

Also it's from the creators behind Crossy Road, it's kinda kool bool.

Okay

Just beat Minecraft: Story mode episode 1.

Its not the worst thing Telltale has ever made , the entirety of TWD Season 2 is still far far worse. But its nowhere near the greatness of Tales from the Borderlands. I'd say Story mode ep 1 is about on par with Telltale's back to the future, not great but not entirely awful. But its so predictable andall the characters are bland one trick ponies, theres only one puzzle in the entire episode, there are one or two moments which made me laugh but the rest takes itself way too seriously, and again Tales from the Borderlands did what its trying to do so much better, Tales is more constantly and consistantly funny but the serious and sad moments don't feel out of place and are generally well done. in MC it doesn't work because its fucking Minecraft and I feel it should all be played for laughs and it rarely is. The game also has Minecrafts crafting system which obviously feels like it belongs but is ultimately pointless padding as you can only craft what the plot demands you craft. The combat system is actually the best new addition in this, its simple attack the enemy closest to you stuff but its still the deepest combat system a telltale game has ever had.

I got what I expected from this, a meh opening episode, but the last episode of Tales from the Borderlands coming out next week and I hope its as amazing as the rest of the series has been.

Huh, the game's already out? I don't see any home-made YT account that posted gameplay. Anyways my first glance was really bad since the faces looks so...strange.

Story Mode looks cringy and mediocre to be honest, but on the other hand it looks marketed to young kids anyway.

Gonna play Animal Crossing again but switch the date back to late spring because I feel like the game is way more enjoyable during spring/summer rather than fall/winter. Probably gonna lose a villager or two though.

Playing bloodborne recently put me in the mood to play dark souls 2 again and actually try and beat it this time hopefully. and certainly I've gotten the farthest I've ever gotten, as I write this I'm at the bonfire before the demon of song offering myself up as a summon to farm sun medals, haven't been summoned in about an hour though, so maybe my sou memory or whatever it is that determines who can summon you is too high. which is annoying because I only need two more medals before I can get the sun sword which is what I'm wanting.

Right now I'm playing Twilight Princess. My opinion of it has plummeted now that I have played Link to the Past and A Link between worlds.

I also downloaded Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes after seeing the let's play of Game Grumps. It's a load of fun. I might even use it as a english/communication tool for my pupils tomorrow (since it's holidays for them)

Also I've purchased Saints Row 2 and I'll begin it soon.

inb4 zelda sequelitis argument

I picked up New Leaf again today and it having been over a year since I witnessed spring/summer in it, I forgot how stunning it actually looks, it's one of the most visually appealing games for the 3DS still. All in all with the music and general tone of the game, this is really a direction I hope they keep up and expand on with the next title. It's got a really nostalgic touch to it instead of the more relaxing previous games, I like it.

Nothing relating to sequelitis but i don't even really get the comparison. I can understand LTTP to OOT, since it was the jump from 2d to 3d, but Twilight Princess is just a whole different thing to me than LTTP.

Um excuse me, but I would like to make this argument. Twilight Princess has Midna. Therefore:

Twilight Princess > Link to the Past
