Ah that's it! Here's the original "Kiss" for a comparison: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... mt_016.jpgShrooblord wrote:Hey now, there's The Kiss from Gustav Klimt. And it's Rayman and Ly in the piece. One more artwork into my This Was the Official Ship Bag.Haruka wrote:I did a very unexpected finding when I visited a Retro Gaming shop in Marseille a few days ago. By my surprise it is framed a group of Rayman images in the style of different famous painters. Some are already known but others it is the very first time I see like Impressionist Rayman (Claude Monet) and Neoplasticist Rayman (Piet Mondrian). Here's the photo I took.

I also like Ubi's mimic of an Henri Matisse work too.

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
What is the painting in the lower right corner supposed to be? Isn't that the Rayman 2 loading screen?

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Rayman 1 had voice acting only in the starting and ending of the game.
Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Start and end cutscenes, it was even dubbed in French (logical as Rayman is french), German etcFifo wrote:Really? Where?Stormtrooper934 wrote:Actually Rayman 1 had english voice acting.Ambidextroid wrote:Only Rayman game with dubbed voices? First Rayman game on mobile? Wha... What?

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
The characters that Rayman would meet are also dubbed in the PC version. Rayman would also speak if you didn't touch the keyboard for a while.GOT4N wrote:Start and end cutscenes, it was even dubbed in French (logical as Rayman is french), German etcFifo wrote:Really? Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Bias toward the new games aside (Jungle Run is a footnote compared to Hoodlum's Revenge) I think it's at least neat that they acknowledged some stuff from the older games, like Mr Dark.
No, even earlier--R1 had a fully voiced opening cutscene in the PlayStation version.Eren wrote:I also noticed something, they say that Rayman 3 is the only Rayman game with dubbed voices, but the first one was actually Rayman 2 for ps1 and the second one Rayman Revolution for ps2.

That is in all versions.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:R1 had a fully voiced opening cutscene in the PlayStation version.

I don't recall it being in the PC version. Unless it was meant to, but needed a patch to run. I can't remember the situation exactly.Fifo wrote:That is in all versions.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:R1 had a fully voiced opening cutscene in the PlayStation version.

It might not have the opening/ending movies if it’s part of a compilation to save space on the disc.THEdragon wrote:I don't recall it being in the PC version. I was gonna mention Rayman Advance, but I wasn't exactly sure if you were counting that one.
Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Rayman 1 for MS-DOS is technically the first dubbed game actually, but for some strange reason only the original release had voices in the dialogues with Tarayzan and Musician for example but not everyone knows that.
