With that being said, it was still a very strong scene, with great speeches. That was a good episode!

In terms of the plot, it seemed rather pedestrian for the most part, some hidden mystery with sinister connotations. It was nice to see Rigsy, he was quite a good supporting character in Flatline last series, and I can't fault him here either. Ashildr came back, and well, I still find it hard to make anything of her, whether that was the point of her, I don't know. Of course, with the way things turned out, I think it's fair to say that she's not going to be on the popular side of things anytime soon.
As for the main event, like I said in the You Game, that was probably the most brutal of all the main companion departures in NuWho. They muted it, but it was pretty clear Clara was screaming in agony when she was being killed by the Quantum Shade. Though it kinda bugs me how they shoehorned the limitation in there so it could happen. Either ways the harsh part is the fact that she went out because of a gesture that ultimately, was pointless. Rigsy was meant to be saved, and Clara wasn't supposed to be hurt. Particularly brutal, compared to the circumstances in which previous companions left, usually stopping some great evil like the Daleks, Cybermen or the Weeping Angels. I have to admit, her departing like this due to her recklessness does seem logical, as that was the point being made throughout the series.
I've not been the biggest fan of Clara, but her departure definitely got me. I'd probably have preferred what seemed to be her departure in the Xmas Special last year, due to the callbacks to 11's departure, but this was well done.]
[I always felt Clara was too faithful to the Doctor. Like whenever something bad would happen, she was always so calm and 100% believed the Doctor would fix it. Then it kinda bit her in the ass, you know, with the whole dying thing...
So that last episode Heaven's Sent was really interesting! And the ending... ]
That was why I said not to read the plot summaries, they spoiled the ending of the episode. I usually like spoilers, but I'm actually incredibly miffed that I knew about this before the episode airs, moreso because it was given out in a plot summary, you don't spoil the big surprise of an episode in the bloody summary. Geez.
[So, Capaldi on his own for around 50 minutes, very interesting move. Thankfully, it wasn't just him talking to the camera, there may have only been one other character, but the way they went about it, with him going into a sort of mind palace (fittingly the TARDIS), was very neat. There was also a nice sense of isolation, and it made things feel rather creepy moving forward, with the Doctor fleeing from the ever slow, but ever approaching Veil.
Then there was the plot twist, that he'd been living through the events as a loop, continuously going through the same sequence of events, and chipping through the wall. How many seconds in eternity, indeed.
And then...GALLIFREY. The grand plot twist I figured out once he approached the wall saying "home," and started punching at it. But my displeasure at that spoiler aside, the Doctor doesn't seem to be very happy with the Time Lords. Considering how he once feared them, but eventually grew and turned into their saviour. I wonder how the next episode will pan out, and from the trailers, it looks like it'll be one heck of continuity filled 'un. An hours worth too.
Needless to say, Series 9 is on the brink of being Moffat's best, but will he carry through? Or, will this crucial end miss the mark as Death in Heaven did?]

That last episode was excellent! Love the concepts, the atmosphere, and the conclusion.
[Though Moffat doesn't seem to get tired of time loops. But this one was actually great!]

I didn't say I read the plot summary...
Dunno if I responded to this already, but that was not directed to you, my ranting was directed to the folk who let slip the great reveal when writing the synopsis. I was explaining why I was making a huge deal of it.
Heh, never did get round to discussing the last two episodes. I don't think Hell Bent was quite as good as Heaven Sent, but I do feel it wasn't so bad a second part.
The Husbands of River Song got a tear out of me, it was nice to see the greater meaning behind the relationship between the Doctor and River, most of the time, you just get the flirting. Bit of a silly episode, but I still very much enjoyed it.
And reading further, Series 10 won't air 'til 2017, there's only going to be an Xmas special this year. Aww man, it's 2009 all over again, but even less featured.

And to think I'm still waiting for the successor of Moffat! Well, at least, it'll come. But not before 2018 I guess.
42 and The Power of Threes are cool episodes by the way. Especially the second one, even if the conclusion is a bit meh. The two others are not bad, but not the most memorable.
Well, time to hibernate now.
… I still need to watch the Christmas episode though.
