Again, Haruka, it's your device. It has some serious delay when detecting your tapsHaruka wrote:I will gladly play more often once Ubisoft allows pad controls in the game. I fell in other level that is ridiculously tough to perfect it with touch controls.

From what I checked it seems to only contain a controller image, so they're planning itOCG wrote:Does game contains any files with virtual joystick?

Re: Rayman Adventures
Just played the level that Haruka couldn't beat. Holy shit, it's a reeeeeeally bullshit level. Trial and error at it's finest. It doesn't help that it is mandatory to have a protection incrediball to beat it, since there's a skull coin hidden under a platform... in the middle of the lava. Fucking bullshit Olympus level.
Re: Rayman Adventures
Hence why I am waiting. In the meantime I am trying to inform myself about good Android controllers with the same number of buttons as a DualShock and so far I might go for a Mad Catz C.T.R.L.R. though I am not very happy with the price but it seems to be a strong candidate of purchase for overall emulation + RAd once it supports gamepads. I still have time to decide.GOT4N wrote:They're planning to it seems, the game contains files with a controllerHaruka wrote:I will gladly play more often once Ubisoft allows pad controls in the game. @Sergiomonty I can ensure you the problem is not in the lag but really the touch interface, for levels like the one I played it is ridiculously difficult to perfect it and now I fell in other one that involves Lums instead of Teensies and has got water currents everywhere. I believe the lag isn't that noticible now as I recently did an app cleanup and cleaned the screen from grease/fingerprints.
Re: Rayman Adventures
Also, I can say they're planning another game mode it seems, maybe Mya can confirm it or not, I won't spoil anything so you get the surprise, but yeah it seems they're planning something, I told it to Droolie, but I hope I'm not wrong ^^
Re: Rayman Adventures
I wouldn't expect too much, really. The controller image could be for the Apple TV version. It's good that attack and jump are mapped to different buttons at least, but in terms of movement, it's still an auto-runner that only allows to switch direction.Haruka wrote:Hence why I am waiting. So if they do release more control options, don't expect any huge improvements. :/
Yeah, it definitely looks like they are planning it. It could just as well already be cancelled though...GOT4N wrote:Also, I can say they're planning another game mode it seems, maybe Mya can confirm it or not, I won't spoil anything so you get the surprise, but yeah it seems they're planning something, I told it to Droolie, but I hope I'm not wrong ^^
Re: Rayman Adventures
If it turns out to be canned, can we get more details about what it was planned to be?

Yeah, of course, if Mya says it's cancelled because she knows what I'm talking aboutOCG wrote:If it turns out to be canned, can we get more details about what it was planned to be?
It's not the challenges ^^Carrot-master wrote:Now you're making me curiousGOT4N wrote:Also, I can say they're planning another game mode it seems, maybe Mya can confirm it or not, I won't spoil anything so you get the surprise, but yeah it seems they're planning something, I told it to Droolie, but I hope I'm not wrong ^^Did you find it in the game files? Is it perhaps the challenges Mya said might come?
It's in game files yeah, also don't get too hype, you might like it but I don't want to make you guys think it's something awesome
And a huge thanks also to Droolie for his big help!
Re: Rayman Adventures
Of course when it comes to the story of the UbiArt games, it'll be ignored. But hey, I'm here and I gotta say that's pretty accurate from what I've experienced from playing Adventures.sergiomonty wrote:Here's something neat, guys.
A few playthroughs ago I learned something interesting. I'll try to tell what's going on based on trailers, the opening and some interesting levels with storytelling, I'll try to be the less fantiction-ish I can. Prepare yourselves, this is going to get deep:
Rayman Adventures happens during a war between the Lividstones and the Toads.... and the Toads are winning. Yeah, one would think that since the Dark Teensies hired them in Legends, they would be friends or something, but nope. There are some levels where the Toads actually help Rayman defeat the Lividstones, and of course, Rayman has to defeat the Toads after that. By connecting the points, I'm pretty sure the war is happening because of the huge value that the eggs from the Sacred Tree have. After all, as seen in the opening sequence the Lividstones stole them first, but in the first trailer it is shown how they were stupid enough to let some fall into other kingdoms. Minotaurs aren't involved in the war, they're just cleaning their stuff as usual. Toads and Lividstones don't even try to steal the eggs from them, since the Minotaurs are protected by the Gods of the Olympus Maximus. Finally, some Toads use the Dark Teensie's abandoned base as their secret place to make their plans. The entire Glade is in war, and as usual, the Teensies don't want to fight... and that turns them into the bad guys' punching bags.
Finally , as usual, Franckys are part of the Lividstone army, Ogers are part of the Toad army, and Giant Minotaurs are part of the Minotaur army.
The only thing I must say that's not entirely true is the Toads winning the war. If you recall, the level where the Toads assist in defeating the Lividbandits, the Lividbandits themselves also make a comeback and defeat some Toads as well. The level ends in a stand-off in a fight between a Francky and an Ogre with Lividbandits and Toads spectating.
I think the only reason why they didn't attack each other in Legends was because they were under alliance with the the Dark Teensies and had put their differences aside to help the Dark Teensies achieve their goal in taking over the Glade.
I also really like the idea of the eggs being the focus point of this war. It really adds purpose into collecting them. Who knows what will happen if the bad guys got a hold of them. And the Teensies being the peaceful race in the Glade is also adorable. They do seem like the only species to never try and get involved in these conflicts except for a handful of them.

wait, is Lividbandit a legit name?
Re: Rayman Adventures
Nope. It's a term I coined recently. It's a way to tell apart the explorer Lividstones and the bandit Lividstones, thus I made the term Lividbandits.

Re: Rayman Adventures
Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer your savefiles from another device to another? I just got a new Android device recently and wouldn't like to start all over again.
Re: Rayman Adventures
I think if you tap the folder button in the main menu, click the arrow at your save and type in that code on your new device it should work.Raymanni wrote:Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer your savefiles from another device to another? Stacey plays this all the time and all I ever hear is 'Wahahaheeeey!" over and over and over and over and over again! Haha! It's so much loader than everything else in the game!
