Rayman Origins' story is pretty kickass... but it's untold, and that kinda frustrates me...

Wouldn't you have loved to see a cutscene where the young Magician is bullied by other Teensies? That'd make the evil guy more likeable and easy to identify with for some people. You know, the best villains are not the ones that you just hate, but the ones that you just love to hate.

Remember when we had debates trying to find whether The Magician was Mr Dark or not? Good times.

I think what I want from a story is not something like "here's the story of why the world's in danger, here's the bad guy" and then nothing else until the ending, but a story that develops as the game progresses.

I totally agree. That's what Rayman 3 did so well

Kind of...

I mean... it spent a lot of time on finding a doctor for Globox.

Well, it didn't start with just an intro telling you who the bad guy was and then a ending. First you were chasing André, then you were finding the doctors for Globox and then André escaped etc.

Hey there, not sure if it's the good topic for my question, sorry for that. My question is, is there any chance for a new Rayman game? I mean one for PC and/or consoles. I hope Rayman Adventures is not the end of Rayman. (Sorry, if I've missed some information, and you've already talked about it, in that case, tell me please where can I find it :))

This has been discussed a lot and I'm pretty sure there is a topic for this already, but nevertheless: As far as I'm aware, I don't think that there's any plans for a new game in the near future.

I was worried very much since I never seen such slow customs before. I am so happy it arrived without issues. I hope you enjoy wearing it, it suits you well ^^

This is pretty sweet, even if all the sound effects and menu assets are still Birdo.

Random thought and I'm not sure if this has come up before, but dya reckon the white circle on Rayman's body could have been inspired from fairy rings?
They're a Western European folklore. It's based on naturally occurring mushroom circles or circles made with stones, and are described as being magical or a portal for the supernatural such as faeries. I also thought it was interesting how Rayman is the only creature to accept powers from fairies with his white circle and Rayman was also created by fairies in Origins inside a stone circle as well.

Maybe, I always associated it with things like Stonehenge or those weird circles that are inscribed into ancient rocks. Admittedly your idea sounds more accurate than mine

Oh wow, I'd never thought about the fairy circle thing. If I recall correctly, the origin of the ring was from the scrapped 'Jimmy' storyline. It was supposed to be like a power outlet or something, to plug things into for superpowers. Something like that, anyway. The fairy ring idea sounds much better though.

Apparently not this community manager: https://www.facebook.com/rayman/posts/5 ... 22R0%22%7D
:P
Though seriously, the Rayman 4 comments are insanely annoying! Gosh, they'd probably love Rayman Adventures if it was called Rayman 4 as the name of the next Rayman game seems to be all they care about :fou2:

To everyone complaining about Rayman 4: Rayman 4 is here and it is called Rayman Origins. And if you still have doubts, do the maths and check how many canon titles exist since the start and compare.

I hope this clears up to those still stopped in time in the year of 2007. (Better saying "I want a new 3D Rayman!", I think it is more correct.)
