Also, Nintendo conforts itself in the knowledge that the earth is 100% ocean aside from Japan.

< wasn't really expecting much of the direct, it was eh

< was surprised to hear that Federation Force began development in '09, wasn't that around the same time Other M came into play?
< does feel more comfortable with the game having heard what was said, it's still pretty much a spin-off to < though.
< also saw the new Kirby, < does fear that this feels somewhat safe for the series. Granted, Triple Deluxe wasn't too much a step beyond Return to Dreamland, but they still had their differences. < feels like this new one is Triple Deluxe with a new coat of paint and a different gimmick. Time will tell, < guesses.

Riding a giant robot with copy abilities is pretty cool though.

< also thinks the ghostbusters trailer looks decent but time will tell if it's good or not

Judging from the trailer ,< doesn't feel like the new ghostbusters movie will be amazing, but < didn't think it looked bad at all, it actually looked like a movie that wants to have fun, which, granted as someone who watches one or two movies a year, doesn't see a lot anymore.

< Still thinks federation force looks like a fun game that should at least not have Prime in the title.

Oh yeah, < agrees that < would really enjoy the game, it's the Metroid factor that < thinks makes the game a sore point to some. <'s gotten over it for the most part, but < considers the title to be a spin off, though it continues the Prime story, after the Phazon crisis from the main Prime trilogy.
