I agree, although not as fun as the Sonic one

I must disagree with this one as the tone there is more annoying and every time I bring up a perfect example of how a social media page should interact with it's fans while also giving the source content the respect that it deserves is the Rayman Facebook page.
The Official Sonic channels lately are nothing but a plethora of shitty and/or overused meme jokes regarding a certain drawing and leg day, perhaps some Boom praise here and there. Older game content is used as laughing stock, so the people who are coming there for da laughs are having something to point their fingers at while those who have been loving the franchise for decade(s) can stay on this page which they "Liked" because of "Sonic The hedgehog" and keep listening to how some people who "just wanna have some fun" are continuously making fun of the content that they've grew up with.
As a veteran Sonic fan I can say that now is a really difficult time to be much a thing.
Allow me to present an example: Imagine if the OFFICIAL Rayman Facebook page would spam images about how Rayman 2 sucks because of this and that and would indirectly make fun of anyone who DARES to love that game. That's exactly what's been going on at the Sonic channels since last year when they re-hired that sorry-ass Aaron Webber. It was like the Rayman page before: Fan Art Contests, Fan Image Contests, Occasional Article Links, Occasionally remembering/acknowledging certain games, etc. Now it's almost just memes, nothing else. It may be funny for someone who goes there for da laughs, but as a Sonic fan I find this self-destroying mentality "we suck and we know it and we don't care LOL" incredibly stupid, heartbreaking and demoralizing.
"LY LOOKS LIEK A HERMAPHODITE AND DUUUHHH RAYMAN 2 TAKES THINGS WAAAAAAYYY TOOOO SERIOUSLY, LOL!"
