Thank you for this. You are awesome.
I tried it in Windows 10 Pro 64bit build 1511 and latest updates as of 28 Feb. 2016 with the resolution 1600x900, worked perfect along with Shadorino's bik videos.
I am also looking forward to Shadorino's Wide screen biks of Rayman M , hoping he will solve the aspect raio factor of Rayman M cutscene videos. viewtopic.php?p=1126681#p1126681
Thank you Shadrino !! You found the spot to fix Rayman M cutscene videos for widescreen !!
I re-installed Rayman M to my PC running Windows 10 Pro 64bit build 1511+latest updates as of 29 Feb. 2016, and got cutscene videos displayed in 1600x900 setting correctly !
Oh what a fun !
May I ask one more ?
I also like to get ubi.bik video of Rayman M converted to widescreen.
This file makes Rayman M completely suitable to widescreen.
Thanks in advance.
Ah yes, I deleted this one. I didn't think anyone would be interested in keeping it since you cannot skip it while it plays. 'Guess I was wrong XD
Edit :
This is going to be tricky. I have to work with the PC bik video since there was none in the PS2 version. The resolution is therefore different than what I used to work with. Plus, the actual aspect ratio of the logo is 4/3, not 16/9. I'll see what I can do, but I don't make any promises since it's just a logo custcene.
This logo may be usually skipped by replacing it to 00:01 lenght, blank bik video, if deleting it causes crash.
That one could be useful too, as for the no intro fix.
For this 4:3 one, you may just crop it or/and stretch in some good places to make a good impression of widescreen.

Than you for this.
Even it is a logo cutscene I am still looking forward your Rayman M ubi.bik for widescreen, for it makes Rayman M suitable for widescreen "perfectly".
@RibShark
Could you add Polish cutscene patch in the first post?
Because it is placed in different package instead of English among others,
here is the link by Shadorino: https://mega.nz/#!JUJ0yAyC!BLGUXWbTJMbz ... TYsX6rV-RQ
Thank you

Download the patch and cutscenes using the links above.
Find your Rayman 3 installation directory (usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubi Soft\Rayman3" or "C:\GOG Games\Rayman 3 - Hoodlum Havoc")
Extract the contents of the patch archive into the Rayman 3 installation directory (so that dsound.dll is in the same folder as Rayman3.exe)
Replace all the files in the "videos" folder with those that you downloaded in step one (in videos.zip).
Go to your start menu (or screen), find Notepad, right click and click "Run as Administrator".
In Notepad click File > Open, then navigate to C:\Windows\UbiSoft\ and open Ubi.ini
Change the value of Gli_Mode to be "1 - your screen width x your screen height x 32.
Run Rayman 3 as normal.
Changelog
2016-02-24: Added auto-patcher that works on all screen resolutions.
Awesome work u guys did here !!!
I should thank u guys for all this. Now I'm able to play this game after 10 years or so !!!
Anyways, I wanted to ask where the mentioned 'auto-patcher' is because the widescreen fix provided doesn't include an exe. Sorry if I'm getting something wrong .
Another thing I wanted to ask is that I've noticed that not all the videos in the original videos folder are present in the linked rar file. Does this mean some cut-scenes will be skipped ?
deton24 wrote:Not all videos are needed to be replaced I guess.
No offense, but it doesn't make sense to add videos if the game isn't gonna play them. It's just plain stupid, increasing the game's size and all.
And seriously, just trying to understand. Don't take this the wrong way.
Or do u mean that we should replace only the videos which are present in the rar ?
In that case, I'm pretty sure I read in the instructions on the first post that we should replace the original folder with the one given.
