This guy has been writing about various Rayman games for a while now, and at times discusses their chronological significance in a way no one here ever has. Check it out, if you will. The dude writing it also asserts that R1 Magician and RO Magician are different characters, a viewpoint that goes against Raywiki and the general consensus here. I'd love to reach out to the developers someday and find out for sure, because this has never truly been clear.

A Rayman comic? Now, that's a surprise! O_o

Check out this little guy in the background of the Sacred Tree.

He appeared in Legends too, in A Cloud of Darkness. I liked that guy and his peaceful harp theme.

I'd never noticed him before. I really like some of the strange creatures they put in the background of Legends levels, like that long-legged bush with glowing eyes.

To be fair, I think most people would be paying more attention to what's going on in the foreground than in the background.

Has anyone here seen the latest Incrediball comic? Basically, the creatures are playing around when they accidentally create a meteor-like object and send it skyward...only for it to crash land on another planet resembling Earth with dinosaurs on it. So what does this imply? First off, that our world does not take place in another dimension, but simply another planet. This explains how the Rabbids were able to get there, as I can much more easily believe that they have access to space travel technology.

What doesn't add up, however, is that when the Rabbids traveled to Earth, it was a modern-day interpretation full of humans. So does this suggest that hundreds of years after the Rabbid debacle (or, 100 Glade of Dreams years, at least) the humans on Earth are wiped out and replaced by dinosaurs? Is this some sort of Circle of Life scenario?

Damn Incrediballs, causing more trouble every day...

The Facebook page says: "A long, long time ago, in a ‪#‎Rayman‬ Adventures land that time forgot… "
Possible this takes place millions of years ago when the dinosaurs lived here. I dunno

That is a theory I've been defending for years and having seen this comic seems to reinforce it is true. It makes me happy. ^^

Now that is a pertinent question, though this seems to imply it happened millions of years ago. The Incrediball comics never showed Rayman so far so this could be pre-Rayman too.

So the new update for Rayman Adventures hit iOS today, and boy did it deliver.

*It's revealed that a bunch of Rabbids have been left behind in the Glade of Dreams, and they're up to their old tricks. Now they're leaving chocolate eggs everywhere they go. It makes sense that some Rabbids would still be here given that they're native to the Glade, as well as the fact that you can't simply get rid of such a numerous and unpredictable species.
*A new playable Teensy is Rabbiteen, unlocked by collecting 2,000 chocolate eggs. Her backstory is that she has a brother who once jumped into The Magician's hat and never returned, and Rabbiteen is on a quest to find him. I love the connection that they made here with a retired villain and the common idea of "pulling a rabbit out of a hat" typical of amateur magicians. While I wouldn't want to see The Magician return as the villain again, I welcome references like these, and hope to see some toward the original three bad guys in the future.
*Okay, do not quote me on this, but wasn't there some source somewhere a long time ago that suggested/confirmed that chocolate is Rayman's favorite food? Now he's hunting chocolate eggs. Hmm.
*New Incrediball species is the Bon'Bons. Not much to say about this.
*Funky Ray is back, possibly because he debuted in a Rabbids game.

Anyone catch anything else? It makes me kind of sad that this whole Rabbids event is temporary. Really, the whole game is temporary in the long run. :(

It's been a while, but didn't the original RRR trailers imply that the Rabbids had been on Earth prior to modern times? "Studying" humans, and whatnot?

Uhm... maybe on a site like RaymanWorld? I remember seeing there that Rayman's favorite hobby is rock climbing and it also had some other informations.

You could have asked me, I had the picture. ;)

Also, I do have a headcanon that Rayman is crazy for chocolate. Rayman Premiers Clics seems to suggest that.
Haruka, do you still have a pic of this ad?

Their original backstory from RRR GBA was that they were bullied outcasts long ago in Rayman's world, and they'd been plotting their revenge for years. The "studying humans" stuff comes from RRR2, when they have to try to blend in with earth culture.

Worded that wrong, I meant post party change, like this one: Also looking at RRR2, it says the invasion has begun again:

Well, that's just a shitty trailer then. The first RRR has nothing to do with the real world.

Yeah, I think we'd be wise not to take into account every little thing from every trailer, especially those from the Rabbids era.

Speaking of Rabbids, I wonder what ever happened to the unique individuals like Segueï and Pink. They were awesome, but they were sadly dropped in RRR2. I'd love to see them return in Adventures as a boss or something.
