- Having an early life dilemma. I was recently issued a mediocre appraisal from my manager (deservedly) and now I feel stuck. Although reasonably paid my profession is bland and not where I see myself long-term (especially now). I've been volunteering in the prison/rehab sector for some time now but a recent meeting with staff and volunteers there taught me that I know little about that industry as well.
I wish my life had a set of instructions :(

It could be worse. You could be going through hell for minimum wage but at least your job seems neutral. Alot less stress.

True but an insecure job isn't much better than a minimum hours/zero contract job. Finances are shit now anyway.
