< has had that happen with my stepmom's dogs before, it's certainly frustratingMaster wrote:1:45 in the morning, < gets woken up by the barking of the neighbours dogs. Not like < needs to sheep for uni or anything.
One hour later, still periodic barking. Sleep is a distant desire at this point.

Re: The You Game!
This has been going on for almost three months now for <, but it's never been this bad.
It's now 3:30, <'s given up on trying to sleep, the barks continue.
Now 5:30, barking has finally subsided. < would nod off, but given how < will be going through <'s morning routine in an hour, it seems pointless.

Re: The You Game!
< decided to just set <'s phone alarm and take the hour. There was some barking in that time, but at least < got some inkling of rest. < needs to figure out a way to get this to stop, that was one of the worst nights <'s ever had.
< sees the bots have arrived, to give < the warm morning welcome < so thoroughly needed. This bodes well.

< really isn't that kind of person, and even so, the owners aren't the kind of folks < would be comfortable confronting.

Re: The You Game!
Might sound a little egotistical for < to admit it, but ^'s probably right. < doesn't know what to do though, <'s afraid of confrontation, but < can't stay like this forever. Not after that horrible night. < wants to do something about it, but not something which can put < and <'s family at risk in the process.
< knows <'s pouring <'s heart out here, and < apologises for drowning out other people for it, but < needs to vent.

< says it's fine dude. That dog is messing with your sleep and you'll have to eventually report it silently or bring it up with them. Why not just leave an anonymous note if you don't feel up to it?
Re: The You Game!
< agrees with neo. < dislikes confrontation too but sometimes it's necessary otherwise people will trample on you. Perhaps keep it light and politely ask them for assistance and tell them how it's affecting you, first?

< can barely sleep as well because of an extremely loud whizzing noise caused by a very strong draft going through <'s front door. The estate said the vents will be repaired on Thursday; < hopes so. During the day, < can put an object there to wedge the door open but < doesn't want to leave it like this overnight. The funniest part being that some other residents seem to have repeatedly complained to the reception about those tiny objects sticking out of <'s door, as if their delicate eyes couldn't stand the sight of a cardboard box. They better not complain to < directly or < will give them a nice welcome they won't forget anytime soon.

< feels sorry for Hunch. London is nice, but rent prices are outrageous and people are very unfriendly. < isn't surprised about the moany neighbours.
