Well, I'm going to try for a heartfelt message. Hopefully Mya will drop by and see it. I'll PM it to be doubly sure.

First and foremost, happy cakeday Michel! Hope the cake is sweet, and the party even sweeter!

I remember when I first got the PlayStation, I played titles based off things like Spider-Man, or Formula 1 racing, but then I played Rayman. The first game which wasn't based off something from another form of media, a game series that started off as a game. Rayman 1 was brutally difficult, but it presented the foundations through which I've played games for years to come. I remember playing through it, sharing the controller with my siblings to beat a level. I distinctly remember figuring things out, like how you could shoot the crystals in the Jano chase in Rayman 2, and feeling very smart about it. The Rayman series is a series through which turned gaming from a pastime, into a hobby.

The worlds created in the Rayman series have been with me ever since I inserted the disc for that first time. And while I'm raving mostly about Rayman here, I've enjoyed your work as a whole and continue to do so.

I'd like to say thanks for being at the helm of so many great gaming experiences, and for making me fall in love with video games
