Re: Rayman Adventures
Does the hatching time again got changed to 8 hours? Or is it only for this Event?
Because 4 hours were much better than waiting 8 hours. It kills the fun again.

Re: Rayman Adventures
Holy shit, this is huge. So I guess some Rabbids stayed behind before RRR2, preferring to keep spreading mischief in the Glade of Dreams. I hope this comes to iOS asap.
On a more metatextual level, this whole predicament can best be compared to the Biblical story of The Prodigal Son: Rabbids are the foolish, impudent youths who tried to strike out on their own and failed miserably, initially believing themselves to have what it takes to be independent, only to sheepishly return to their slighted but warmhearted progenitor.

Re: Rayman Adventures
So does that make us fans the salty older brother?
Meh, at this point, I don't really care about the Rabbids, seeing as the two series are now fairly distinct, they can't throw Rayman into another limbo. Though I admit, I still don't like them being part of the Rayman universe, but at this point, it's a minor personal gripe that I can get over easy.

Re: Rayman Adventures
I enjoy the fact that the Rabbids are making a guest appearance. It's all just in good fun, relax. Also one of the eggs hatched after 8 hours but another was still 4 for me, perhaps it depends on the type of egg?
Re: Rayman Adventures
Just noticed that the timer of egg's hatching came back to 8 hours. Why though? Was the four Hours time hatching just a bonus or small update thing for Valentine's day?

Re: Rayman Adventures
And... It's out on iOS! With Everyplay support!
Hm, the Rabbids remind me quite a lot of the once seen in early Legends screenshots.

Re: Rayman Adventures
Oh my gosh, this update has proven to be a lot of fun! Everything's more tuned up. The missions have a timer now underneath and a new animation to show progress. The loading screen now shows the current character you're playing as instead of the default Adventures! Rayman.
As for the Easter Event, I can say I'm having a lot of fun so far. Eggs are indeed scattered everywhere and the Rabbids are great in this update. Sadly, only one Rabbid per level, so don't expect to beat a bunch of them. Also, the Rabbids are really cute, I almost don't want to hurt them. They just mind their own business when they appear. But it's hilarious when you die from one as well.

And oh my gosh! There's this new level which is freaking amazing! You infiltrate this base and if you hit a red laser some skull coins get protected so you can't reach them and n the end you free the captain who is in prison! That level was soooooo coooool!
Edit: Here is the new level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSYXFtt ... e=youtu.be

That is a pretty cool level!
Re: Rayman Adventures
It's confirmed that the 8 hour hatching time was just a mistake when the update had just come: https://twitter.com/RaymanGame/status/7 ... 0686592000

Re: Rayman Adventures
Not gonna lie, I pretty much agree, as someone who hated this game when it was first released, someone who considered it the worst in the series and wasn't ashamed to cry to the world the atrocities it had commited, the chance to actually play it like a more traditional Rayman game has made me really enjoy it, I've probably played more in the past 24 hours than I had since the game launched. Its just quick 30 second platforming challenges and taking out the microtransaction stuff I don't care for, then this is actually a really attractive concept for a portable Rayman spin off. Hell, maybe its just cause I own one but I would adore it if Adventures got a port to the PS Vita, especially considering the vita ports of Origins and Legends were so good.
Adventures went from being my least favorite game in the franchise, to something I consider even better than Origins and the run games, and granted those were my least favourite before Adventures' initial release but that means its now a solid middle in my scale of favorite to least favorite Rayman games, and I don't even think Origins, my least favourite , is that bad, so just think what that makes me feel about Adventures now that I actually play it like a Rayman game.
Its amazing that something as simple as how you play a game can drastically effect what you think of it.

(Sorry, reposting this 'cause I though I submitted it)
The update has been so much fun to play by now! Quality and design and colors are really enjoyable, in my opinion. I really like it so far. The only thing that kinda disturbs me are the Rabbids themselves. Everytime I hear them moaning or screaming, I immediately think about Rayman Raving Rabbids and it gives me the creeps. I don't know, it's just like a weird, silly nightmare that I though I finally managed to forget and it's back here instead.
Don't mind me though. I still think the update is quite beautiful!

Re: Rayman Adventures
This update is fantastic. Like Brad said everything is just more polished and user-friendly, and I love the egg hunt event. The Rabbids perform their role perfectly and fit in just fine as species in Rayman's universe, just as well as they did in Rayman Raving Rabbids for GBA.
Also, anyone check the new skin Rabbiteen's bio? It mentions that she has a brother who jumped into the Magician's hat and never returned. Yes, the Magician was acknowledged again, and called by his original name to boot. Maybe now we can get some Razorbeard/André shout-outs...?

Re: Rayman Adventures
What I find weird is that the Rabbids make different sounds than usual... I mean, yeah, they have their "BAAH", but it's pretty rare...
Somehow they sound more calm. Maybe the people at ubi know that rayman fans are quite bored of the Rabbids' yells?
And for some reason, I think their designs haven't aged very well. Rayman's most recent enemies have a Courage the Cowardly dog feel to them. Their designs are ugly, hairy, full of wrinkles and boils, with rotten teeth or sharp fangs. And well, the rabbids are all cute and small. They're actually incredibly small now, maybe of the size of a Teensie. It's weird. But oh well, I think that makes it more hilarious.
Heh, it's quite hard to believe that those little guys were able to defeat Rayman 3 times. Also....they can... get bubblized? plot hole anyone? o3o

Re: Rayman Adventures
No one could get bubbilized until Rayman Origins. It's not exclusive to the Rabbids, really. But yeah, take a look at the first cutscene for TV Party, and then this game. Before Rayman couldn't bring himself to even stand up to them, let alone defeat one, and now Globox makes quick work of them. Rabbids got nerfed hard.
Really glad Funky Ray is here, I'll be getting him ASAP.
