That's like saying Super Mario 64 was a disaster of a game just because it wasn't like Super Mario World.

Yeah I agree , the game is not bad but it does have some thing I would've changed like the story , giving everyone they're old personality etc except that its a great platformer.

Flat? Pardon me, but you are so wrong about that.

No, of course they don't whine about SMW because they get SMW references in every single new game that comes out, and NSMB milked the 2d formula 'til death. What actually is happening is that people want 3D Mario games to be more "OPEN WORLD" (yeah right) like Super Mario 64, constantly bashing games like the poor underestimated Super Mario 3d World.

I'm still dumbfounded by folks who think that. It's been stated countless times that 3D World is a 3D Mario game that plays like a 2D Mario game.

I tested out Rayman Legends the other morning. wow, it really does tickle my fancy can't wait to play it. I cant wait to put Barbara up on my walls and collect every viking axe ever known to man. <3 Barbara is love/life. (of course I only played the first level. Good from what I played tho! and Murfy is still there :D)

Apparently most of the Rayman Origins/Legends gameplay programmers aren't working at Ubisoft Montpellier anymore: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.ph ... stcount=90
That doesn't necessarily mean anything bad for Rayman, though we probably won't see a PC/console UbiArt Rayman game in the same style anymore.
He also seems to imply that Ancel has largely left Ubisoft and is only superficially working with them a bit, but with all the teases we heard for BG&E2 I doubt that.

I believe Ancel is working on BG&E2 and WiLD now, and as soon as BG&E2 is done he'll go right back to developing a new, more narrative-based Rayman (he mentioned his desire to do so in l'Histoire de Rayman, if I remember correctly).

Well, only time will tell what is going to happen next. I see BGE&2 happening quicker than a completely new Rayman though. Ancel did confirm his wish to create a more narrative turned Rayman game in future projects in the Rayman book. :)

Shame. Looks like we're getting boring Rayman games again, lol.

BG&E2 has been getting rumors, so that ought to have some news soon hopefully.

There's no guarantee of getting any Rayman games, especially given Ubi's direction. I really wish they'd release the rights to Ancel and let him be, but that's nothing more than wishful thinking and a dream.

I really enjoyed Rayman Legends but I would really like to see a new 3D Rayman. Everything was just so right about them. There is so much of the Glade of Dreams I want to see again.

Bear with us a bit, we do intend to have a mobile version running once we've updated the site.

Learning with Rayman, maybe. Learning with Globox? Sounds like an oxymoron.
