Then its gotta be Windows 10 crappy ram
Well don't worry Windows 10 users, use an alternate plan, use 8.1 or older. If y'all don't have older operating systems, I'll do whatever I can to fix this.

I have 16GB, the game should definitely work for me too. I'm going to try the game on my laptop and old W7 computer.
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
I tried it on Windows 10 and it worked fine after I put the data things in the data folder.

Good good, great news to hear. I'll make updates throughout the months. Like adding new costumes, making the platforms more 2D look, and bug fixes

Hey, I hope you won’t kill me for posting here-
I just wanted to say that I can create an installer for your game – interested?

It automatically adds shortcuts to the desktop and start menu.Rayman502 wrote:Tell me more details. Cause its easier to just download the game and click on the .exe.Fifo wrote:Hey, I hope you won’t kill me for posting here-

It also supports autorun when written to a CD:
— if not installed, launches installer on CD insertion
— if installed, launches game on CD insertion
Also the installer can copy files to the proper location – you won’t need to move the files manually.
I can send you a test copy of the installer – simply message me

Personally I prefer just a normal download. Why not have both?

"Out of memory" even when using 8gb of ram
Doesn't work. I noticed in task manager while opening the game it reaches 1.1gb of ram usage before the error occurs- it's odd because its only using 40% of ram and yet its says "out of memory".

Not a developer, but aren't applications assigned a predetermined amount of RAM, not the whole lot?
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
enter button in main menu is working like down arrow in pc keyboard i guess it's nasty bug.
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
Create a folder called data and put everything in there except the .exe and config files.gamerz31w wrote:enter button in main menu is working like down arrow in pc keyboard i guess it's nasty bug.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
Not exactly sure. All I really know is I put a lot of coding, objects, and music files. The .exe itself is like I said, 23 MB. Shouldn't be much of a problem on older operating systems cause I guess, enough RAM. Which is unusual.Master wrote:Not a developer, but aren't applications assigned a predetermined amount of RAM, not the whole lot?
Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
The size of the exe is not equivalent to the memory usage. I tried removing the music folder and other data folders for testing purposes, but after loading for a while the game still crashes. I haven't tested the game on my laptop which has win 8.1 yet but I will do it soon.

Re: Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance RELEASED
If RAM is being used up like that, isn't that usually some form of memory leak?
