Let's all agree that this one's the worst.

Serza demands I focus on Pokemon Emerald before I get Sun or Moon.

Psychic/Steel and Psychic/Ghost. Could have been a bit more original.

Psychic/Ghost I predicted for Lunala since it feels obvious although Steel/Psychic is really darn unusual for the Sun one, I recall someone saying that because of these typings that makes the Sun legend weak to fire and the Moon legend weak to Dark.

Can't say i'm as hyped over this news since it's mostly just clarified stuff from the last one but as someone who's fav Pokemon is Rotom I do very much like seeing you get your own Rotom Pokedex.

Hmm, can't say any particular legendary choice catches my fancy on this one. Not right now anyway.

It's going to be difficult for me to decide on which to choose.

I just pick which color looks better on the cover. That's why I went with Pokemon Y because it was red.

Well based on that nobody will ever pick the Moon version...

Yeah I never pick them based on legendary anymore, by the time I reach it I've always already got a pretty tight team going and sometimes the legendary is even like 5-10 levels behind the rest. I think the best way to go is picking based on the Pokedex differences.

Hmm, it kinda depends on what's on offer, I've usually had a preferred legendary when it comes to pairs (Ho-Oh, Groudon, Palkia, Zekrom, Yveltal), and if there's a third version, like Emerald or Platinum, I simply go for those since they tend to have the pair and then the extra. This time, I don't really have any sway towards either of these legendarys, might be that I go at random if I get the chance.

I picked X mostly for color, I believe. I was mostly interested in one of the starter Pokemon than anything.

I've told myself I was picking moon from the start because moon stuff is my shit. Needless to say i'm the type to get the colour/aesthetic I prefer unless it's like remakes then I get the childhood one. :P

I do prefer Moon legendary here though since the Sun lion looks rather "eh", as much as it's got that unusual typing to it.

I'm assuming I'm not the only one who thinks the starters for Sun and Moon are pretty sub-par compared to something like gen 4. Litten looks like something I'd encounter on Route 1.

I don't really like the Sun and Moon starters too much.

They seem... off. They all look okay, just not "Starter Standard".

I get what ya mean. I think some memories might cloud our views aswell. I personally think it comes down to running out of ideas or designs that don't look derivative.
But we haven't seen the other evolutions yet.

Let's not bake the bread before we have the grain!

Yeah the starters are kinda lame, Rowlet looks like a generic first-route bird Pokemon moved up to being a starter. I guess their final evolutions are more important though, it doesn't take that long to evolve them for the first time anyway.

I do like Littens though, a cat fire thing is cool, plus I feel like the fire type is always the best choice in terms of battling and there often being just a few pure fire Pokemon scattered around the game.

Funny you say that, I am the opposite, I absolutely adore water type pokemon. My starter will always be water. I guess that's what happens when you are a Pisces! :oops2:
