Well, don't go to bed, if they yell, say politely still, that you are doing record day. And that's that. Switch to ignore mode. :p

Do you stay up all night all the time when they tell you to go to sleep? If not, then it shouldn't hurt to stay up one night.
If you still can't deal with them, posting with your phone while in bed is a good alternative

I've never had RD playlists- sometimes I just have the same song looped over and over but that's it.
