If character personality is one of your big concerns towards a game designed purely for gameplay, then you're in the wrong.

like in rayman 1 where rayman speaks to the player when idling or the fact that he could use the grimace it gave him personality, that's why all the 3 first games are considered better for me because most of the characters are very relatable and have a lot of personality thought into their making unlike origins where I almost feel nothing towards the character im playing other then "Its Rayman" or "its globox" etc.

Uh, why would you want Rayman to acknowledge the player? Doesn't that break the immersion of the games being these atmospheric experiences? Having Rayman yell out these annoying phrases to you while idle totally feels out of place for such an immersive game, don't it? And speak for yourself, while they don't have ideal animations, the characters in the newer games have enough charm in their voice clips, animations, and overall design to make them lovable characters. Why do you think I love Barbara so much? Not only is she cute, but the way she plays and reacts to the game makes her such a great character.

1. As I said that's just how I felt, I guess in legends this is less of a problem since you have a lot of cutscenes and each character you play have a different expression, but still something is missing for me in gameplay.

2. The Rayman talking to the player was just an example of what the developers can do I'm not saying they had to do this exact thing but some sort of idle animation would've been exceptable like Rayman doing for example the basketball idle animation and Barbara playing with her axe or something just think about it each character would've had her own idle animation wouldn't that make you love Barbara even more? just saying

3. And just to clarify again I do not hate any of the ubiart rayman games I actually got a lot of enjoyment out of the daily challenges in legends and rayman adventures is one of the only free apps that i actually like to play on my phone (until we get here Pokemon Go...) and the level design in them all is very creative and some of the best 2d platformers I ever played in recent years

and it's great that you like Barbara I just think some things are missing.

Did he forget email as well? And password and username? In that case there's probably not much to do but create a new account I guess. His challenge data will be reset, though I believe everything else will be intact. I doubt downloading torrent will help, and if it will you won't be able to access the challenges as they require Uplay.
If he remembers his email at least he can always reset his password or contact Ubisoft support.

If you can't provide any proof of purchase, and prove it was purchased by yourselves, I'd imagine you're out of luck.
