I asked Ancel and he told me that he didn't like it, and that he was sure he'll inform the team to take it down.
Really unfortunate.... we tried so hard and got so far but in the end it didn't even matter.

I also asked Yves Guillemot, he said he was gonna sell Ubisoft to Vivendi, and Rayman to Rockstar, expect to see a Ray cameo in GTA in the near future, and Globox high on LSD fucking some prostitutes.

The sheer potential of this project is absolutely astounding, especially considering for a vast portion of it's development it was a one-man show, more or less. The models are fantastic, and faithful to concept art to a T at the same time. On top of that, the atmosphere, even in the scattered screenshots you've shown off, looks amazing. And the music! My GOD the music!! It's been absolutely incredible. The progress you've made as a composer is huge; part 32's tracks are absolute masterpieces, 'Revenge of the Dark' especially. I can't imagine the kind of game this'll eventually become. Keep at it, Ad. If I weren't saving up money for a trip right now, I'd absolutely throw a few bucks your way, and Hell, after said trip, I might still do it.

Adsolution, it has ben terribly long since we've last spoken. In fact, it's been too long since I've spoken to anyone here. Hope all is going well.

How is the project coming along? I'm sure you must have spoken about it pages before, but I really don't have the time to thumb through 390+ pages. ^-^

I'm eager to try it out when it does.

In the meantime, I'm still arranging some of the pieces for piano. ("Lurking in the Darkness", Theme to Cave of Skops, is a Granduloma in the ass. O.o But, it's at long last completed. haha)

Considering Ancel recently said that he'd be interested in doing another Rayman game once Wild and BG&E2 are done, probably not.

I doubt Michel is bored of Rayman, his enthusiasm on Instagram over the SNES Rayman speaks volumes on how passionate he is about the franchise. However, BG&E2 is a project he's been wanting to do for years, and if what he's stated is anything to go by, it seems he feels it is time to get back to it, as the time feels right.

As such, will we see a new Rayman in the near future? No, probably not, but it's clear that it's not a case of him wanting to abandon the series, but wanting to work on something he loves just as much.

I guess Michel Ancel grown up from games like Rayman like Naughty Dog from Crash Bandicoot.
